Not usually the photos I have found with black backgrounds were taken in the day.

Yeah plenty of daytime pics of hummingbirds but no night time ones that I've found...

Perhaps an African Sparrow??? After all they are alleged to carry coconuts.

What variety of African Sparrow are you talking about there are 23 of them. For a European swallow not carrying a coconut, it's airspeed is about 24 miles per hour. With a coconut I guess the hovering speed of the sparrow would bring it into contention as a suspect.

All I know about it is from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

The African Sparrows were blamed for carrying coconuts to England.

It wasn't clear from context if they were unshelled coconuts.

It's a Moth. I can tell because the head is incredibly small and moth like.

But let's just entertain the idea that it might be an "Angel". From the photograph it appears that "Angel" is holding a sword and it's in battle stance. I'm no expert but I would guess this Angel is not particularly fond of whomever is in the truck and I would take it as an ill omen or perhaps it may be a fallen angel. Pretty sure we all have watched enough movies to see what happens when a demon takes a liking to you.

Maybe the truck had a demon (it was possessed - ever see "Christine") and the Angel was driving it out.

Perhaps Angels have incredibly small and mothlike heads.

Isn't a sword - I checked and it is the reflection from the building. Besides moths don't carry swords.

Going with this, I'm not sure its a fallen angel or not but it appears as an angelic-like being or some sort and apparently does not like the owner of that truck...Perhaps its putting a 'mark' on that truck, in time we may see the news of that fellow passing away in an auto accident...I hope not but one never knows when its time to go...

Perhaps "marking" the truck like a dog does?

Hummingbird.

That one looks pretty close if viewed from the front.
