Hopefully, two weeks of mind-numbing pain are about to come to an end. She pulled my top right wisdom tooth. Even though I don't think that is the problematic tooth, She says wisdom teeth will push on other teeth and that one was the problem.

Either way, Weather it was from some infection left over or just that it wasn't numbed properly This time it was a pretty painful extraction, but, the worst is over now If it will ever stop bleeding. I think I'm gonna go sleep the numb feeling away. bbl.

That's a long time to wait. Are the other wisdom teeth a problem?
I'm not really sure, She said she wanted me to get my bottom two removed, I think I will, Just in case. The top two are usually the ones that can cause the most problems, But I'm just gonna have the bottom two taken out too. I've never had a lot of tooth problems but this last time was bad enough If I can help it. I'd like to never have teeth problems again lol

The relief is pulpable.
It truly really is lol, Even now that the numb feeling is wearing off, The normal pain of having a tooth removed is nothing compared to the way it felt last week at this time brother.

I know, I had the anesthetic injection and the relief from the pain I walked in with that disappeared nearly made me relieve myself.

I mean I've had several kinds of pain before, But teeth can hurt you in ways that don't even make logical sense, This one tooth, Hurt me all through my head and into my throat. I'm just glad its over :D

We have a product here in the UK, called Oragel, when I was having trouble someone recommended it and bend me over backwards does it work. Has benzocaine in it, maybe not legal where you are but it numbs up like the real thing. Great to have if you are having trouble and waiting for an appointment.

Imagine those two weeks pain free and minty.

Oh yeah, we have Oragel here too, And if you can manage to get it to the problematic spot it helps a lot. Dentists here don't recommend it, Because if someone absolutely depends on it to relieve pain, Like, to the point of burning through several bottles of it a week, It can poison a person. But that is only in extreme cases where the person should have sought an emergency room before that point.

The reason it's different here in the states though, Is the corrupt medical system, Many people here are so reluctant to seek treatment. to the point of allowing illness to even kill them. The medical system over here is that messed up brother.

I had an uncle pass away of very treatable pneumonia, But he wouldn't go to the hospital because he could not afford it, And yes, He full knowingly accepted that it was going to kill him, And he allowed it to do that rather than financial stress his family. We all tried to get him to go to the hospital. But he just refused.

People may think I'm exaggerating, No, These things commonly happen in the U.S brother.

Different ball game over there, here we are lucky with the greatness that is our NHS. Absolute Stirling set up and not taken for granted by myself. They have helped me hugely when I needed them most.

I owe them my life after a motorcycle crash long ago and recently they cut some metal from my eye ball. I went down there at 3 am and the lady had the scalpel and was cutting it out by half past.

Survival of the richest.

I never talk about politics Much. Because somehow when I do, I always end up somehow offending people and Not meaning too, But, It must be great to be in a country where your government cares if you live or Die.

I am all but certain The U.s Does not brother :( I believe to the Us politicians, An American is little more than a disposable tax paying workhorse :(

Yes taxes here give the same sense of being part of the machine and yes, it is a safety net for all, regardless of wealth or status. I think many in your country would breath the world's largest sigh of relief if you had free health care for all.

It is a shame.

We have free health care here. The Dentist is a whole different ball game. It costs a lot of money to visit the Dentist.

So the dentist isn't considered health care? That sucks.

I can assert, I'm pretty sure teeth can be lethal when they get bad enough :( Are there no exceptions to that rule?

Well, I am on disability and therefore I am covered for dental. I guess that could be considered an exception to the rule.

There is a program/company known as Blue Cross that gives partial coverage, for a monthly fee. Then there are employers who give benefit packages, but they are becoming a rare commodity. Most only hire part time now and that lets them off the hook for having to pay or offer benefits.

You know how to cheer someone up who feels that he is dying...and the girlfriend don't help either!

I was looking at my own 'tombstones' wondering how they kept together?

Hate dentists.......they charge a fortune as well to add to the misery!
Gave me a quote for one at the back. I wondered if he could just loosen it perhaps?

Every time the bugger gives me a filling, he affects the one next to it with all that pulling and pushing. Nearly gone round full circle. Recon it's done on purpose?

Terrible guts ache last night after lifting some slabs up.

Not eaten for hours with this terrible trapped wind retching feeling.

Felt like something trod on me?

The girlfriend found some Tarot cards whilst I was lying flat out.

Yer...you guessed it....I drew the devil card whilst she pulled the fool. (about right)

The devil symbolises an illness whilst the fool symbolises a new beginning....so we are told...but I recon they are just being polite?

Charming...I am gonna drop dead whilst she gets a new life!

I fear to lose my teeth, I fully admit it's a vanity issue. I'm not perfect by any means, I don't claim to be, But, When it comes to teeth, I've been a real asshole in the past. Let me explain, I had a fiance once, She fell and it knocked out a front tooth. She didn't want to go get it fixed, and Eventually, I approached her in a stone cold way and said look. It may not Bother you, Heather, But I don't date toothless women, I told her, That was a front tooth that was noticeably missing and it may sound mean to say, But it bothered me, And It needed to be fixed.

In a perfect world, I would have been such a gentlemen and supported her decision and lack of vanity and praised her confidence, However, She wasn't the one who had to look at that all day every day. So I paid to have her tooth fixed, Sometimes, What's important, isn't what's fair or Proper or Just, But to some extent, Any man can understand the need to be with someone they would want to be with. It sounds bad and maybe it isn't the most charming thing I've ever said. But the truth is, A man's first attraction to a woman usually is her missing teeth.

It's complicated for that reason, people can rehearse all the virtues they want and climb that ladder of morality as high as they can, But when it becomes bedtime, none of that will matter, because a man will want a woman he can look at. So, I've always been really vain about my teeth and even other peoples teeth. It seems like Karmatic Justice that now at this relatively early age, I am losing my own lol it's hilarious and I'm able to laugh because I'm a completely different person now lol

Mind you 'Shadowprophet',

We get some sights were we are as well. That is both men and women. Without delving too much into appearances, I tend to wonder what others see in what I do not see?
Teeth I never really thought about. I think when bits begin to fall off we are getting old. The old thatch is turning grey and thinning out which used to worry me. I need glasses for reading now.

D_Yjlp2XYAAbmny.jpg

I had always been in and out of relationships and thew one above had lasted 10 years. The current one I think is going on 36 years. I was a baby at that time...16 years old. Can't believe that I took her out with my pocket money? Lol

Always moaned that I never spent anything on her...as God knows how many cups of tea I bought !

Probably spoilt her?

D_YlN88WwAcw3DE.jpg

I had always had a passion for Pizzas and this one in Barcelona was a treat! She had always looked after me and bought my food. (Julie) She still has all her own bits as mine seem to be falling off...lol

Says that when she gets married, she will be pushing one in a pram and the other in a wheelchair!

Shes really pretty, I've had a few pretty ones like that, Here in the states a beautiful woman, At least to my experience, Knows they can have anything they want and eventually will spend all a mans money or just get bored and leave. I know this will be another unpopular comment. I'm not really looking to be unpopular, But I like a woman, Who you can literally tell to get in the kitchen and make you a pie. I know how that sounds. It's not about Pie. It's really a test of devotion. I'm not saying Beautiful woman can't be devoted. But it's rare. And I'd assume it's not just rare in America.

I know that may sound like a really off-color thing to say in this modern age, But, If a woman can't love you when you are an asshole to them, Then they can't really love that person.
Sometimes, To truly be happy in a relationship you have to set the bar insanely high. Ridiculously high. So High that you just know there is no way you "Can" mess it up.

in return for that High bar I sit, My wife enjoys absolute empirical loyalty and a man that would walk through fire for her. It seems like a fair exchange to me. lol

Lol...there was no doubt there ShadowProphet....she was not going out with me for money. It's the parents that I often worried about. They don't like their daughters going out with losers...lol

The ones you have to watch are those who have everything. Marion and I were due to get married but I had no money, so I got a job as a semi skilled fitter at Midland Industrial Designers of which was good money but not enough for her.
D_fNxUiXsAEv6c4.jpg

Her parents used to constantly grill me about caring for their daughter. I was just not good enough. This picture was taken at a party. Barry's everywhere...lol He had the money for booze.

Well she got home very sick and her parents had a real go at me. I was stunned.

Things moved a little forward, but she would always be deep in thought about me.

D_fNxUiXsAcBoYN.jpg

Often not speaking as can be seen here. She was one of these 'high flyers' going abroad working as a solicitor's secretary .
I just had enough and put my foot down which really was the excuse she was looking for.

My guides told me that it would never work. I recollect buying my tools at Eddy's Hardware Store.

The assistant went into a trance state (I mentioned it on this forum)

I wanted an external micrometer and the assistant came back all glazed.

"It is not going to work you know......it's not going to work!"

Never told her anything but she just woke up and shook her head and apologised.

I wondered what she was talking about but they say that love is blind.

She left me some weeks later after aI had spent about £1500 on an engagement ring.

You know sometimes ShadowProphet....I think:- "Does it matter?"

I think it got to me real bad . Oh yer I got money now but I lay thinking what good is it?

She ended up marrying this bloke and off she went.

I still get no respect. Because people will not forget. I will always be that dork who could never afford a gallon of petrol.

It is most strange that when we cannot have something that we fight for it. Julie and I have been going together fora very long time.I met her when she was 17 years old and I was 32.

No one thought it would last. It has and we are never apart. We never ever fall out. Her mum used to look a t me peculiarly when she was alive and her dad was okay. She comes from an educated family .

I am pleased. Julie and I are lucky.

George
