Balochistan Sphinx Temple

Nobody builds anything out of shale, for example. That's what I meant and almost typed. I know it's limestone, and I know some limestone is really porous and crumbly.

I believe this is an excellent example of pareidolia. Are there examples of buildings eroding in the way these stones have? It's interesting and fun to try to pick out shapes, but I don't see any reason to take this seriously.

You guys could be right about this, But, I still feel there has been work done at that site. I need to get on with it and draw this illustration.

No, I had no idea you were a Geologist, In fairness, I've never seen you really offer any information up about who Castle bravo really is, So, I always pictured you like this.

You are correct I don't offer up much of who I am......but that was the one thing I did tell. There is much about me that can be figured out by the two screen names I've gone by and my avatar. Figure those out and you'll be on the right track.

That actually is more like a good friend from college.

I mean my thing is, How can I not take your word on this, I have no reason to not respect your opinions, As I always have, So I'm at this point on this where your word is good enough for me on this. I literally know little more about geology than breaking rocks open with a hammer to see if there are leaf patterns there. "True story" Most times, there were, I found it fascinating. So honestly, As I studied the picture. With real intricacy as I went to draw the illustration, I realized, Those angles that I was so sure I had seen, Where more like an illusion and those patterns, aren't so very amazing, It's just an amazing angle for a camera shot.

I really don't know how to end this post other than saying, I have no issues with being wrong, It's part of my charm.
After it all is said and done, That is a really amazing work of photography.
