Wonder why he took so long to release them.......that's where I saw a ufo. I'd say what I saw was either a satellite or a MiG-25 on border patrol. I know it wasn't a balloon, swamp gas or a helicopter. Its also likely oxygen deprivation has something to do with it.

Not sure if I'd say it resembles a chopper to me, but I think it does look like some sort of jet...

If its over Everest its not a helicopter......base camp is near their service ceiling. It is quite possible the person couldn't identify a helicopter above a peak near Everest.....or it could have been a sky burial bird that's even closer. But as usual its blurry so its hard to say.

If its over the peak in the video it could be a helicopter as it looks vaguely like a Huey.....but since its blurry I'd go with the sky burial bird.

YES you can take a helicopter to the Mt. Everest summit.
But it has some limitations. Most helicopters are designed to operate at around 10,000 feet.
Helicopters depend on its rotors to generate enough lift to support its weight. At higher altitudes, the air become thinner and its hard to get enough lift.

As Mt. Everest summit is at 29,000 feet above sea level. The air pressure is about 1/3 rd there in comparison to that of at sea level. But we need same lift as needed at normal level to safely operate the helicopter. For this the rotors need to be larger and engine stronger with overall weight as small as possible.

Highest Helicopter Flight Altitude

On June 21, 1972 Jean Boulet of France piloted an Aerospatiale Lama Helicopter to a record altitude of 40,000 feet. He removed all the unnecessary equipments and he was breathing supplimental oxygen.
At that altitude the engines broke and the helo has to be brought down with autorotation.

Helicopter On Everest

Pilot Didier Delsalle succesfully landed an Eurocopter AS350 B3 helicopter on Mt. Everest in May 2005.

So in short you can take a helicopter to Mt. Everest, but its not very common.

It kind of landed.....its pretty impressive that these specialized helicopters piloted by adventurers can get so high. They should stay around during the climbing season. But it looks as though they were pretty useless compared to the normal military helicopters used in that area.

Following the earth quake in 2015 the rescue helicopters had trouble getting to Camp 1 at 21,000.
