Congratulations Britain, and Well Done!...I fully supported Brexit as an outsider, glad to see it finally came about...

The UK FINALLY leaves the EU as Britons celebrate in jubilant scenes across the nation when clock hits 11pm - from Nigel Farage in Parliament Square to ordinary people up and down Britain

Britain has ushered in a new era outside the European Union as Brexit was at last delivered, drawing a line under 47 years of membership. On the stroke of 11pm, the UK officially divorced from the bloc after three years of bitter political struggle that split families and paralysed Westminster. Jubilant Brexiteers heralded the moment with celebrations across the country, including a flagship bash in London's Parliament Square where Nigel Farage led a chorus of God Save The Queen. The last moments were ticked off in a light show projected on to the famous black door of Downing Street, where Boris Johnson held a muted party for his staff after releasing a pre-recorded address to the nation.

The Prime Minister hailed the 'moment of hope, a moment many people thought would never come' and said Brexit would 'unleash' the UK's potential - but warned there will be more 'bumps in the road'. Britain has now entered an 11-month transition period with the EU, during which time the government will race to strike a trade deal before December. But any future wrangling with Brussels was far from the minds of Leave revellers this evening, who waved Union Jacks and cheered triumphantly in Westminster after being whipped up by key architects of Brexit including Mr Farage, who is no longer an MEP after be a disruptive force in the European Parliament for over 20 years.

I have been whacking out a big paint job tonight when the hour came, out of London and far enough away from the remainer bubble to hear many fireworks going off.

It has been nearly four years of the liberals trying to rewrite the meaning of democracy and scaring the people but now, tonight I feel a great sense of independence which is exciting. As you know, I love Americans, Canadians, kiwis and Aussies because we from the same nest.

Eleven more months of alignment to suffer and I have a sense of a possible no deal still being very real and during the next year give or take a month, we will be tying up deals with the four nations I have mentioned plus others and the EU will become much less significant to us here.

Massive thanks to Nigel Farage and the Brexit party.

Can't wait to see what the Don and Bojo get going on a deal.

I honestly feel closer to you Americans than I can ever remember.

I keep hearing about a big trade deal. You think maybe brushes and combs might be part of it?

Here's to old friends.

Nigel Farage has predicted the Danes will leave next, I listen very closely to him, he says it like it is and by pulling candidates in certain locations to give Boris his majority and thus once again confirming the referendum result was akin to a hero falling on his sword in many an eye.

Nigel spent twenty seven years in Brussels, trying to reform or exit it.

Boris speaking today and it just gets better.

Great speech, I'm listening to the full speech, I like the bit "grow up, get a grip" to those anti American bashers...lol

There are quite a few who bash America here unfortunately and an obvious increase with the never Trumpers but they have lost so much ground in recent times it is getting boring.

It's done, Trump is on another cake walk for four more years and now Boris is in for five at least, the real stuff can begin.

Barnier and Bojo are already clashing over the agreement which is a good sign that once we have secured deals elsewhere, we can just leave and let the EU come running up the garden path for a deal once we have satisfied our interests elsewhere.

I have a close friend who hates America and that would never come between us but I did broach the subject with him once and his big concern was the police and the justice system, which by the way is something hugely lacking here in my opinion.

Pelosi ripping up Trump's speech after he snubbed her was a pretty good gauge on what is left in the tank.

Just a bit of insight courtesy of Mr. Farage.

In his early years of attending Brussels he used EU funds to investigate, expose and halt some legislation which he opposed. While sitting and eating among friends and colleagues a German member approached Nigel and congratulated his success but in the same breath told him that we have more than fifty ways to win and in time Nigel's objections and success was overturned.

That he says that was the point when he knew of the undemocratic system at work.
