I'm sure he thinks he is telling the truth.....but at 88 his memory might be missing a few gaps.

If they were filmed around 1980 they should subject them to a layered voice analysis to see if there was deception involved.
What exactly did he say in his earliest interviews on the topic? Personally I'd be amazed if they didn't see something unidentified around the moon. Did Apollo 8 report anything unidentified?.....as they were the first ones to orbit the moon.
Actually I'd like to see a layered voice analysis on the people talking about him seeing something besides a UFO.

Or it could be what he saw.....I still haven't seen any of his statements since 2005 to see if he was lying. So I'll just go with the documented statement says. I was also given the mistaken impression it was near the moon. I was also given the impression that he has been talking about seeing a UFO for many years.
