Lol, My thing is, I've learned over the years, to many people to say, Hey I smoke cannabis they view it the same way as a person saying hey, I'm drunk, I love the stuff, But I rarely speak about it, Because people begin making assessments, And to be fair, Sometimes, Those assessments are correct and I am stoned off my gourd, people can tell when that happens lol, So, I rarely speak about it.
Theoretically speaking of course ..... makes for damned good nooky .....
It depends, But yeah, Sometimes it does.
Damn... you should be in sales...
I've tried edibles, in fact, I've made some, The tips to remember are the cannabis needs to be carboxylated, Meaning you can't just throw it in to food as an ingredient and it works like its supposed to, You need to heat it up some people crisp it like toast in the oven, I've found, Taking a couple sticks of butter mix in about half an ounce, let it all simmer on a low heat for three hours all the Active ingredients transfer to the fats and oils in the butter, Strain the butter. use it in any recipe that calls for butter, This is a very strong transfer method, I recommend if you use cannabutter, Only snack on the food item, because it's going to be strong, and last for hours.
There are a lot of ways to cook with cannabis, But this is the only method I know.
I like smoking cigars, and I like caffeine, so I would definitely opt for smoking Sativa or the energy boosting version(s). No edibles for me, I think they are unsafe actually (from what I've read people ingest too much at once) and will be bad for cannabis industry in the long run.
I'm curious to try a combo of tobacco and cannabis too, like one Musk tried. Have very good self-control of this habit and save for times of celebration or cap the week.
Today is the first day shops can sell marijuana here in Okla. I`ve been smoking for 35 years and always liked indica mostly due to epilepsy, bi-polor,ptsd... , Now that its legal to a point I`ve been clean for 2 weeks. and down to about 10 cigarettes a day.
Strangely enough, The fact that it was illegal did nothing but boost its popularity for many, Idk, For me, I'm a long time heavy smoker. It's like a fine wine for me. I think I'd enjoy it even if it was perfectly legal and bad for me.
Me stopping smokin has been more of a cash problem than a personal choice, thinking about getting a license and just grow my own. hell my Dr. even suggested it for my issues and getting me off the med.(depakote)
That's what I would do If I had the option, Kentucky is going to hold out till last, We are a tobacco state and a lot of farmers don't want to see their cash crops affected by the legalization movement.
Still, The day it becomes legal here, I'm going to start farming... I'm going to grow and cut and dry enough to last me years.

middy and wax - amazing combo
Hello and Welcome to AE...
My friend brought me a brownie that he made himself. He said it was 30% THC
It is the first and only time I have felt a buzz off an edible and I have eaten a few over the years. It tasted awful but I loved the after effect and it stayed with me for about 6 hours.
Seriously, it was the first time I actually felt relaxed and happy in about 3 years.
This is just my personal choice. I used logic to make that choice after reading up on it. And I watched a friend at school change drastically after he started using pot. I tried to tell him he changed, not for the better, and his response was “Shut up.” He kept looking for better highs, and within months, he died from an overdose.
The problem I see with any drug is it is an artificial prop that the body becomes dependent on. Some lose themselves entirely to that...
I don’t care if other people do it.. I do not judge, but for me, after seeing this and studying it, I chose not to mess with it.
I suppose part me wants to try to stop what happened to my friend from ever happening, and so that is probably what motivated me to share this.
May the truth be with you.
I know what you're saying.... alcoholism runs in my family, therefore, I never touch the stuff. Not that I can't... I was one of the lucky family members who does not have the problem. I just choose not to because of the devastating effects it had on them and all those that orbited around them.
Years go by without me using cannabis and I rarely purchase any because I don't have money to spare for that kind of thing. But, I'll tell you something right now....
If I had to choose to live in a building full of pot smokers or live with one alcoholic. I would choose to live in the building.
