Color Blindness Corrective Lenzes

Dundee

Fading day by day.
Hello all,
I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with some of the companies offering color blindness corrective lenses. i am pretty badly Red Green color blind and as some may be aware am learning to paint using an airbrush. Everything we have done so far has been black and white and grey shades but pretty soon we will be moving into color. I cant imagine how funny my paintings might look to a person with good color vision, if I get the colors all wrong.

Anybody had experience with them?

Watch people see color for the first time: These glasses can fix colorblindness
Hi Diva,
They look pretty impressive don't they, but there a lot of money. which is OK if they work like they seem.
I might do some more reading and see first. I would love to be able to see what others see. When I have shown people with normal color vision what I see they are amazed.
If you click the link below, images 1 2 and 3 have virtually no perceptible difference to me, you might as well say they are identical. I can see quite a difference in image 4 though. I would love to see color properly.

Back before I had Lazik done I used contacts and I had a pair that correct for color deficiencies.
It did help, though it was not a drastic difference. It was enough for me to not get colors confused as I often did with pastel colors or mixed colors.
I was deficient with red and any color that had red in it and also with green sometimes. Certain shades of green I would confuse with yellow.
Now I just live with it like tinnitus. Hopefully they can eventually incorporate this idea into a nice stylish pair of sunglasses.

So were the ones you used this company's, of a different mob again?
