Conspiracy? Country Music Star Wants Taco Bell To Stop Joking About The Illuminati

According to The Tennesseean, Charlie Daniels, the country star isn't taking as light-hearted a view of Taco Bell's new "Belluminati" commercials.

The commercials in question spoof the popular conspiracy theories that draw connections between images found on the U.S. Dollar – namely the "all-seeing eye" on the pyramid – and the shadowy "Illuminati," which refers to any number of real or imagined elite secret societies that control the world.

While the ad spots ostensibly advertise Taco Bell's value menu, which now features 20 items for $1.00, that is exactly what we would claim if we were actually Occult Masterminds slowly normalizing our iron grip on the minds and bank accounts of an unsuspecting public.

Mr. Daniels took his concern directly to – where else? – Twitter, where he posted the following message, as stern as it is brief.

Daniels' tweet received at least one serious reply, most notably from the verified account of one Matt Allaire who weighed in on the deeper conspiracy that could be at work.

Daniels has gone a lot further down this road before. Last July, he published a lengthy post on Facebook – veritable fountain of truth that it is – in which he decried:

    So what drives someone to believe in conspiracy theories whether in the existence of the Illuminati or a secret government? In one 2017 study, conducted by Anthony Lantian et al and published in the journal Social Psychology, researchers found that;

The study further asserts that because "beliefs are like possessions," believing in conspiracies is not unlike differentiating yourself through consumption or appearance: they serve a similar psychological need.

We're not sure that's the level of depth that Taco Bell was aiming for, but then again, who knows? Perhaps the Cult of the Chalupa is not far behind. Here's one of their commercials in full. Olé!

"So what drives someone to believe in conspiracy theories whether in the existence of the Illuminati or a secret government?"

Gee I don't know, wouldn't possibly be the Fabian Society or a host of others who've stated as much, or the UN agenda to create what it's calling sustainable corporations would it? Couldn't possibly have anything to with the dept against justice and their pathological quest to extradite a kid under false pretexts to protect the incompetence of their own serfs (Gary McKinnion Case). Wouldn't be the fabian turtle on the cover of the Economist, or the stooges working for the illuminati that are featured poster children, nor the corporate and royalty logos and individuals. None of those have a thing to do with the fantasy.

We must all agree, group think, no discussion, no troubling thoughts. Now go eat a taco and stop asking me questions. The slaves will serve; typically at Taco Bell, McDonalds, Starbucks, Walmart, Safeway, Amazon, and a few others.

I like Charlie Daniels.....and the Illuminati did once exist......but now it is just a means of humor for what the conspiracy theorists say about them. It never fails to make me laugh at the things they are now blamed for......

The concept of such getaways for the rich and powerful isn't exactly new.....but I don't see much of an answer beyond that.

Well they are illuminated obviously. Illuminati is about being enlightened.
What is this enlightenment all about is the question?

They are probably those people with the annoying Christmas light displays that are power hogs.

Really....and can you name the 12 and say where the info comes from...?
These conspiracy tales of these elites have been going on for a long time.....though the historical Illuminati allegedly ended in the 18th century.

They are well known and not so secret as one might think.
    Bohemian Grove - Wikipedia
and of course the Bilderberg group
    Bilderberg Group - Wikipedia
    also the Brit group
    Chatham House - Wikipedia

While these two are well known and people from all sides of politics and various countries have been members...no one has actually ever shown that they are 'controlling the world'.....though there can be no doubt that the rich and powerful have always influenced things at both economic and governmental levels,,,...in the past they were called the nobility and aristocracy and actually ruled by 'divine right'...in modern times it's the right of money and power.

Yup....I've heard about them before as well. I don't see any conspiracy in any of these groups.....the rich want to get away and hang out with others like them. But I can see why it bothers some don't trust them. What I don't understand is why they pick and choose which billionaires they think they can trust. Some of their choices make them look like total hypocrites......lol.

I guess it depends on what one means by conspiracy. The rich and powerful certainly conspire to be more rich and influence others...so there's no doubt they do influence politicians and world leaders who frequently go to the Bilderberg meetings btw. As to whether or not they are sitting around there conspiring to take over the planet is doubtful but who knows...?
