Via invitro fertilization, Twin baby Girls were born in November, IN a move that was universally panned across the board, The Girls Both possess a Mutated CCR5 Gene Making them both immune to the Human Immunodeficiency Virus.

Science Has moved forward this Day But At an unknown Ethical and Moral Cost. Crisper Gene editing is still relatively new and We don't even know all of the functions and possible outcomes of this altered CCr5 Gene. The problem with this is, The scientist was just a glory-seeking a-hole, Those girls could develop a sickness that we couldn't ever catch and it will be untreatable, Their entire lives are going to be difficult, They will have to take immune systems supplements their whole lives, See the only thing they did was make it nearly impossible for them to be infected with HIV by Mutating the CCR5 gene, This say's nothing about their possible futures or health risks. They could literally catch a stray pathogen and have an allergic reaction and just melt from hemorrhaging. <---Not hypothetical scenario

These girls have an uncertain future and an almost certain life of unknown illnesses, And he did that, That Scientist that just wanted his name out there. it's horrific brother

Actually I think possibly the reverse could (worst case) happen, a virus or bacteria could develop from their altered genes in such a way to debilitate the general population that doesn't have the same gene alterations with something that is untreatable, or worst case a plague develops from this gene alteration and kills a high percentage of the population...
