Sometimes the spirits come down from the shelves.

Haven't seen a good explanation, and the patron checking out the chair would seem to exclude wires.

If it is a prank, it is an elaborate prank.

It probably isn't a prank I have seen footage , security footage of bars and pubs in the UK where the very same thing happens. Can't all be fake. It may seen like a great PR stunt to get more customers but I don't think so. Our local church rectory is haunted as the Minister who lived there told us so, he said you could often hear furniture moving around upstairs when he was the only one there.

Yeah a place where they were happy and sorta miss with fond memories of that place. I would say they take a lot of energy to pull a bar stool over, maybe a once a day or even more than that activity.
