Fires in California have killed 23 people and 285-500 are missing. An estimated 3,500 structures have burnt down. They said the fires moved faster than people could run. Dry conditions and extreme wind amplified the fires.

I thought California was out of the drought or was that fake news?...
According to a fire chief I saw on the news the effects of the heavy rains we had are gone. There's very dry conditions and the Santa Ana winds make things even worse.

During the Jeff Rense show today he said there are up to 600 missing and presumed dead.

This elderly couple spent six hours in their swimming pool to escape the fires.
