Picture yourself as a human living 2500 hundred years ago. It’s night time, and the sky is lit up with stars and a huge white object whose nature you have no real idea about. There are no telescopes for you to get a closer look at it, there is no concept of “Space” as we know it, and the idea that that orb the size of your thumb is really a massive object spanning hundreds of kilometers, suspended in an endless black void at a distance of hundreds of thousands of kilometers away is entirely unknown and unknowable to you.

So what do you do when you look at it? Some appreciate the sight, others come up with stories to explain what it is, and others still could not be bothered to learn the true nature of it. If you’re anything like me, none of these options are satisfying enough. If one wants to learn more about the moon in such a scenario, without advanced calculus and telescopes there seems to be little hope. I’m here to tell you there’s another option, and there always will be. It is the idea that the Universe is locally logical, and therefore can be approximated through carefully constructed thought experiments. However the idea also requires a fundamental acceptance that the true Nature of Reality is elusive and illogical at its deepest roots.

It would become apparent that the moon seems to circle the night sky throughout the months and years. You might wonder why everything you can touch and feel seems to be susceptible to a force that drags it towards the ground and yet the moon never falls towards you. One might be tempted to say the only thing that can keep it afloat for so long is some innate ability to fly, but you’ve never seen anything without wings that can fly. Therefore the idea that it’s flying doesn’t seem to be right. Then one day maybe you notice that tying a fist-sized stone to the end of a rope and swinging the rope holds the stone in place, in a circular orbit, where it doesn’t come crashing towards you.

The motion adds up and you realize there must be some sort of equal pulling force on the Moon caused by the Earth that leads to a similar effect. The largest mountains in your field of sight become small when you walk far enough away, yet the moon never seems to get smaller no matter where you go. Indicating that the thumb-sized object must actually be quite large and very far away.

Through these series of thought experiments, you develop a decent understanding of the night sky that goes beyond the initial options that were available to you. But remember what I said, that these are only locally logical approximations and the true Nature of the moon, and the Universe at large remains elusive. Newton may have created calculus by observing the moon, but he wasn’t able to predict the orbit of Mercury since he was missing key concepts of Relativity that were to come over 200 years after him. Relativity wasn’t able to predict the strange behavior of quantum mechanics and I have no doubt that this chain of tighter approximations will continue forever. Our tools seem to get better, more precise and robust and yet the Universe remains several steps ahead of us. It is always just out of reach, and the dance it does is beautifully daunting to keep up with. I want to bring your attention to my claim that the true nature of Reality is at its basis, illogical.

Before Philosophers and Scientists alike grab their pitchforks and come for me, hear me out. There is absolutely no reason for anything to exist at all. If we are to assume that there was initially pure nothingness in the beginning, then there should never have been anything that could just “force itself into existence”. If we are to assume causality is a human flaw and draw back, and that the Universe exists just because it can, then there would have to be physical rules in place for such a fact. However, how did those rules get there? What rules were in place so that those rules could exist? And so on and so forth. It becomes clear very quickly, that our existence is simply impossible no matter how you put it. It is the very definition of illogical.

Therefore, it is safe to say that any attempt to logically describe the Universe in some exact form will almost certainly lead to frustration and existential crises. We can only do our best and appreciate what a ride it is to exist in this strange dimension, on this strange rock in the middle of who knows where. More importantly, if Reality can force itself into existence once, it can and likely has done it an infinite number of times. Who is to say that all the Universes in our version of Reality are the only Universes out there? Who is to say that beings from other Realities *can’t* cross the chasm and enter our cluster of multiverses, assuming the multiverse exists?

Life is resilient and thrives in every environment imaginable, and with an estimated 1000000000000000000000000 planets in the Observable Universe, it suddenly feels like a ridiculous notion to believe that we’re alone. Or even that we should in any way shape or form represent the apex of evolution and what is possible for a biological lifeform to accomplish.

It is armed with this perspective of Reality, that I bring to the reader my best attempt at explaining the Phenomena through a combination of thought experiments, Philosophy and Physics. I am less interested in the physics of the crafts as I believe in TTSA and their mission and that we will learn much more about how some of them physically work in the coming months. Instead, I would like to focus on the more esoteric claims that experiencers across the board report time and time again when in contact with the beings inside of these ships.

Nearly every advanced extraterrestrial race seems to demonstrate what experiencers report as “Telepathy”. They do not mean this in the conventional, stereotype “voice in your head” way, but describe it as a download of information that makes perfect sense to them. Communication has been reported to work both ways, and the ET(for lack of a better term) reads one’s mind with no extra effort exerted on the behalf of the experiencer. This is interesting because it implies communication can transcend language and that other beings are able to cut to the chase so to speak, and understand how we represent concepts in the mind. I have long suspected that the symbolic grounding problem can be resolved via an assumption that we live in a symbolic Universe.

That at base Reality for us, symbols and concepts is all there is. Essentially, the symbolic grounding problem is best explained by the following scenario: suppose you want to teach a machine the meaning of different words. Let’s say we want to teach our machine what a dog is. Since it only understands numbers, each word has a specific number attached to it. Each relation between words would also have a number attached to it. At first glance, it seems trivial to teach a machine what a dog really “is”. However, one quickly realizes that there is no obvious upper limit as to how much information the machine needs in order to truly “understand” what a dog is. We can tell it that a dog is an animal that is often regarded as a household pet. But now we need to define to the machine the words “is”, “an”, “animal”, the concept “is an animal”, “household”, “household pet” and so on.

Then each of those words and concepts have to be defined as well. It is unclear as to when one would need to stop defining words and eventually one would run out of words to define, many words would refer to other words which refer to other words which may end up referring to the initial word being defined. There is no “ground” word that exists, everything ends up referencing each other eventually and we up in an infinite-loop. A total mess! This brings us back to the symbol grounding problem, it is a problem for this very reason and we end up realizing that we do not quite know what it means to “know” or “understand” a word or concept.

We do know that words only have meaning then, to the person using the word, for now that means we have no choice but to assume meaning requires an intermediary – a conscious observer, someone who has an internal representation of each word and it means something to them and only them, whatever it may mean for something to “mean” something. This is why I believe the only way around the grounding problem is to assume that at base Reality, symbols and concepts is all there is. If we are to believe that everything we observe is a form of energy, which so far seems to be a safe bet, then energy may just be a deeply mathematical, higher order unit of logic.

It could be a way to gather, make sense of, and send concepts in the form of matter or more esoteric forms of information that we do not yet have the math to identify and represent. This would apply to emotional states, conscious states and states of being that the Human psyche and physical self has not yet discovered. If my hypothesis is correct or even close to the truth, then it becomes not surprising at all that beings with larger brains and more time to evolve would learn at the molecular level how to manipulate this information and send and receive concepts without needing language as an intermediary. We have already seen that language actually introduces more problems than it solves!

This brings me to Zeno’s Paradox in its original form. Imagine if you have a wall in front of you and it’s 10 feet away. In order to get to the wall and touch it, you halve your distance every time you move towards it. On the first iteration you end up 5 feet away, then halve the distance again and are now 2.5 feet away, then 1.25, 0.625 feet ad infinitum. You realize that there will always be some distance between you and the wall to halve, no matter how infinitesimally small the distance, it will always be there.

Zeno pointed out that by this logic, you should never be able to touch the wall. Yet you do in real life, and with this logic you should never be able to touch anything or get to any destination for that matter. Many people believe the paradox is resolved by the fact that infinite sums converge to a finite number. This is wrong. One cannot take an infinite number of slices of space-time, if space-time was continuous and infinitesimally small, we would have noticed by now and the idea of the atom would be thrown out the window. We would never differentiate between one piece of matter and another. It would be a great big mess, an even bigger one than the symbol grounding problem.

You might be wondering how we manage to touch the wall then – the truth is we don’t. The electrons at the outskirts of your fingertips repel against the electrons that make up the wall and combined with the Pauli Exclusion principle, we are guaranteed to never physically touch anything. The brain rounds up then, and convinces you that you’ve touched the wall. Let us now go back to Zeno’s paradox and start the experiment again. Except this time we treat the wall as the dream state and where you are, 10 feet away, is the waking state. The state that you’re currently in (I hope..). Applying the same logic of halving one’s distance in order to get to the dream state, I realize and am compelled to say one never actually reaches the dream state but in real life they are convinced they do. Which means that the inverse is true as well.

One never goes back to the waking state, they are likely given the illusion that they have arrived to such a state. Suddenly the idea of a consistent, separable reality between the waking world and the sleeping world becomes blurred and suspiciously exploitable. Combined with the fact that the wave function describes all possible observables, and whatever you observe is all that you can say exists objectively, it becomes evident that the dream state is as real as the waking state. I am willing to make this claim and stick to it because it is the most logical, objectively correct way to look at it from a quantum mechanics perspective.

Anything we observe, is all we can say anything about regarding our reality. If all we are observing is our dream world and our dream characters, then they are more real than the waking world. Don’t believe me? Try convincing your dream characters that another Reality exists outside of dream world, they will call you crazy and ask you to prove it. Telling them you have memories of the waking world isn’t good enough.

You must reach into the waking world, grab a physical object, and insert it into your dream to prove to everyone that there *is* another reality. This is obviously not possible. Therefore it would be wrong to include the waking world as one remembers it, in their wave function describing their current dream state observables. Many abductees claim to be taken during the dream state, and that the physical effects experienced actually carry over into the waking world as if there was no difference. I hope that I have shown here, there likely is no difference between the waking and dream world due to Zeno’s paradox. One should feel lucky one’s dream characters aren’t as intelligent as an extraterrestrial with advanced reality bending technology.

Or they might end up following you into the waking world! Regarding technology that different civilizations may be using, it is not likely that all of them have access to elements that we don’t. It is more likely that a good majority of them are getting here with technology made up of elements we already have, except we don’t have a good enough grasp of atomic programming. That is, manipulating atoms to obtain and exploit a specific emergent property of matter that would be useful for any number of reasons. We wish we could control matter and knew all its emergent behaviors but we don’t for now.

One really cool example of emergent phenomena is superconductivity. Normally a conductor because of its defects, will never reach 0 resistance as there will always be atoms getting in the way of the electrons flowing through it. However there are some conductors, called superconductors, where if you cool them down enough they suddenly go from some resistance to perfectly 0 resistance. This is useful for many reasons such as leveraging the meissner effect and flux pinning to levitate trains or for 100% efficient power transmission across an arbitrary distance.

The only problem is that the best superconductors we know of only work in infeasible conditions such as requiring millions of pounds of pressure applied to them for them to work on top of cold temperatures. If we knew how to achieve the same effect with different isotopes and compounds, we may be able to do the same thing at room temperature and with no pressure. Imagine being able to levitate a car on a 2mm thin coating of superconducting material in any environment without such constraints. There is your flying cars and hoverboards.

If nature allows it, then it is our ignorance and only our ignorance stopping us from achieving such technologies. And that’s just one emergent property of matter that we humans know of. Who knows what advanced civilizations have figured out already with elements that may or may not be known to us. Having a better understanding of quantum mechanics and full dominance of quantum computing will also go a long way. For example, we understand that entanglement plays a large role in Type I superconductors, but have no idea what quantum mechanics allows for high temperature superconductors to work. If we went off theory 100 years ago, we would have said that high temperature superconductors should never exist yet they clearly do.

Putting this all together, it is my belief that we live in a deeply symbolic Universe, and we are definitely not alone, nor are we the top dog in the galactic food chain. It may be the reason why our dreams are symbolic, and is also why Remote Viewing seems to work. When a person encodes a target in the form of a number to the remote viewer for example, the Universe has symbolically represented the target and encoded it in the number through some mathematical and physical mechanisms unknown to us currently.

But that’s okay, because I perceive that as more knowledge about the Phenomena come to light, humanity will grow up and start to explore different methods of enhancing its own technological and “psychic” abilities. I believe it is absolutely possible to technologically enhance our ability to remote view and carry out telepathy once we have the math, physics and necessary bioengineering down. Finally, within the Symbolic Universe model, it would also explain why sometimes the Phenomena seems to mirror us. If we harm our cattle, they will too. If we harm each other, sometimes they will too. It could also explain why the Phenomena seems to sometimes adapt to the culture of the experiencer which has been pointed out by Jaque’s Vallee’s hypothesis.

I hope the reader enjoys this article and appreciates the absurdity of the Reality we live in. Take a look around you, breathe in the air of this Ancient Universe and continue your exploration for Truth and well-being. May this never end.

Yours truly,
Deep Prasad

Putting this all together, it is my belief that we live in a deeply symbolic Universe, and we are definitely not alone, nor are we the top dog in the galactic food chain. When a person encodes a target in the form of a number to the remote viewer for example, the Universe has symbolically represented the target and encoded it in the number through some mathematical and physical mechanisms unknown to us currently.

To me remote viewing is a mechanical expansion of consciousness used to locate and lock in on a target but a conscious means of seeking a particular target would not be through the use of remote viewing but through another means more natural but out of reach for many...
