Did Google Hide a U.S military base from view? For over a decade now the Google earth project has been amassing and buying pictures of the earth's surface, But now, Conspiracy Theorists lead by none other than Former UK Ministry of defense official Nick Pope is accusing the Big G of not updating images of the Tonopah Test Range in Nevada for the last eight years. I don't know guys, People usually take conspiracy theories with a grain of salt but when it's some high ranking ex-official like that, It does lend to the credibility of the claim, at least in my opinion, What are your thoughts on this Guys? Is Nick Pope a legit kind of guy? Or is he just a little too fond of the spotlight? What are your thoughts on this guys?

Having signed the official secrets act myself I find Nick Pope to be a self serving attention seeker.He had a minor role in an unwanted government department.He has bigged himself up purely in my opinion for monetary gains.If you pay attention to what he says you realise he is saying nothing.He commits to nothing and I believe knows nothing more than your average Joe.He has used his minor role and used the Fox Mulder comparison to make a career outside the home office.

I know very little about Nick Pope, I know his name crops up kind of often in ufology communities, I've always had this kind of system for how to detect bullshitters, As I see it, Most all of us have been looking for that evidence, that proof to validate our curiosity for possibly most of our lives, We all know how rare conformation is, Let alone evidence.

So someone like Nick Pope, at least in my opinion, Is a lot like Billy Meier or Bob Lazar, I compare him to people who make multiple fantastic claims. If someone said, They saw a UFO, I would be inclined to believe that person. But, If someone said they have seen thousands of ufo's spanning decades, That's when my Bullshit meter goes off.

The claims some people make are too fantastic to be believed, And Yes, I believe you are correct in Nick's case. He seems to enjoy this semi-celebrity status his rare combination of status and opportunity has afforded him.
