Dow plunges 1,175 -- worst point decline in history

It was the scariest day on Wall Street in years.

Stocks went into free fall on Monday, and the Dow plunged almost 1,600 points -- easily the biggest point decline in history during a trading day.

Buyers charged back in and limited the damage, but at the closing bell the Dow was still down 1,175 points, by far its worst closing point decline on record.

That's even worse . Sorry to hear that . I don't have any shares I was going to get some but didn't .

Ah It wasnt that bad,, They been down for some time cause of certain companies in China taking big market shares, lol
But its 5G future telecom,, and hopefully they will goo strong once the markets catch up and start ordering new infrastructure again.

I had a stroke of luck, I had been considering in January to sell and Friday January 26th I did sell 39 shares...Glad I did because now it's worth 25 dollars less per share than on the day I sold it...

I've had my Ericsson shares for quite some years now. Will not sell because of market fluctuations. I believe in them. I might soon be the only one who does.. hahaha

But its my way of giving Huawei the middle finger

The particular shares I sold because they reached the selling goal I set 2 years ago, I was considering letting them ride but did not...I also have shares in an automotive corporation which are more long term, they devalued by 20 percent...

Looks like the humans finally regained some control over the crazy out of order trading robotic systems on the stockmarket. Close call.

It should be outlawed world wide..

Only the Big Banks and wealthy trading firms are gaining from this..

The market and companies being traded suffers from this kind of unrealistic tampering.

Its a very elaborate scam.

So the market plunged again last night...

Dow plummets in afternoon trading and closes down more than 1,000 points

Dow Jones industrials plunge 1,000 points, bringing the index down 10 percent from the record it reached two weeks ago.

Robot induced investor scare ? Or

Just

Rebalancing after weeks of inflation ?
