Difference between dreaming and?

interesting reading here. bottom line seems to be no one really knows for sure what dreams mean. same with astral travelling or any other such. and rightly so. personal experiences. so then.

facing east, simply because of the earths spin, i sat 'up on high' on my knees with arms wide open prepared to accept any all that came to visit/confront me. and an entity did indeed. was instructed. went out side in the bright moonlight and began flapping my arms like a bird and started running down a 300' farm house driveway. while i didn't fly it certainly felt like i was. light as a feather and floating strides. 'dreamt i was flying' many times. effortless and without any doubts. such freedom. indeed.

an other. 'where are you now' i was asked. 'up here' i said. body was sitting at a dinner table. was sitting above. timelessness, then a crash down. 'why are you here now?'. i am hungry.

farm house sitting. sleeping on a country kitchen cot. full moon was visible in the kitchen window. illuminated the room and myself. well past the witching hour. out of the night a knock at the door. i opened. 2 strangers asking for help. what are the chances. remote location up on a mountain. hair on the back of my neck stood on end. had to let them in. what happened was for my person only. but never again, will i accept the moons request. once was enough to learn my lesson.

one more. years have passed now. then gave my body some work. for a year an experiment. ended up with being not well. a dream. an shimmering entity in a dark recess of my basement apartment. 'you are ill' she said. 'do this (she told me exactly what to eat and drink) and begin anew'. i did and my whole being changed. my magnetism soon attracted to me what ended up changing my life. yet again.

At Peace.
The only thing I can say that is real, is the 'dreams' of contact have woken me up and opened my eyes to my world around me more.

You are right... Don't invite them in..
Always keep them at a safe distance.

Couple things.

1. Dreams supposedly start with the last thing you were thinking about when you went to bed. Dreams use that as a stepping off point.

Successful people are supposedly think about problems they are trying to solve and their dreams are basically a planning session for the next day.

2. That would imply that nightmares are the result of going to bed worried.

3. "Don't invite them in". This has a long historic basis. All kinds of evil including vampires supposedly don't have power over you unless you invite them in.

Which sort of makes sense. If your life is screwed up generally it is because you are helping the enemy.

I guess this is a warning not to be self destructive.

I guess this is a warning not to be self destructive.

Indeed, a key point you said here, and this "don't invite them in" is actually a double-edged sword, one must be wise with one's actions and invites...If not you could find yourself with a sword suspended over your head by a single hair to show you the perilous nature of the situation you're in...lol
