Crystal Palace Park
An interesting historical place.....from the early days of paleontology.
In southeast London.
I will never get there.
Neither will I......at least I've seen a couple major dinosaur museums.
Yeah, it's not likely they'll ship them to other countries on a world tour.
No likely not......but you can visit them on google earth street view.
I imagine it would cost a lot of money to paint & seal them to look more realistic.
Actually you would need to take them down all together and start over. Those are 1850s configurations of dinosaurs.
'Compliments of the Season' say the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs!
De la Rue printed this holiday greeting card in about 1880. What are those darned Dinos up to? Are they, as suggested by some, 'laughing at Darwin'? It says 'Ideal impression of a future creation discovered by professors Ichthyosaurus, Megalosaurus and Co.'
