Driverless hover-taxi makes first 'concept' flight in Dubai

Dubai has edged closer to its goal of launching a pioneering hover-taxi service, with the authorities announcing a successful "concept" flight was made on Monday without passengers.

Can't wait to see flying cars I can imaging what drivers will do with them , they will be falling from the skies like rain. Imagine the insurance problems.

I'm all in for flying cars. The problem with ground cars is that bad drivers and careless and reckless drivers cause all the problems. They are just like criminals in that a tiny minority causes 90% of the problems. The way I see it they will get their chance, their one and only chance....snort....Texting while flying and ran into a skyscraper huh? Well no worries, you're not going to be doing that again....ever.

Now of course these things are supposedly going to be automated...can't imagine a 13 year old hacking their way in can you?
