It was Christmas and this hardened agnostic was stood in the crisp, cold light of Glasgow, engaged in conversation with the local pastor. The subject turned to the end times and the possible indications.
The rebuilding of Solomon's temple in Jerusalem, he replied. For that the Al-Aqsa Mosque (Dome of the Rock) would have to be demolished or some extension of the previous foundations discovered. He added in hushed tones that preparations of some contents were already being made.

Another sign was the mark of the beast.
'And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name'
A reference to microchip implants I thought or perhaps an Amazon or Google account?

Another was advances toward a one-world government:
The end of the world will involve Satan acting through two key figures, both the Antichrist and the False Prophet.
The Antichrist will be a political leader, described in the Book of Revelation as “the Beast.” He will poison the minds of his followers with half-truths and charisma. He will gain much of his power and influence by being endorsed by the False Prophet, a mighty religious leader.

One clue from Revelation 13:13 is that the False Prophet will publicly pull fire down from heaven, indicating that God has given his approval to the political workings of the Antichrist

Brexit will stymie it all I thought.

According to the Bayside prophesies & the seer Wendy Alecs book Son Of Perdition the anti-Christ was born in Eygpt in Dec 1981 & will come to prominence on the world stage at the beginning of the Tribulation period & act in tandem with the false prophet, I believe the Rapture will take place within 6/7 years now.

What makes you select these out? have they distinctive properties?
Inductive reasoning viz if you are sat by the road and the last 100 cars that passed are white, the next will also be white suggests disappointment.
There again, the last hundred ufo pictures I've seen contained no information but I still believe.

Its remotely like worrying over the possibility of a large asteroid hitting the earth, someone could worry the rest of their lives and it never happens, so why worry about it lol...

Personally I'd worry more about the mega-tsunamis lining up the coasts of the US and the smaller one in the Pacific Northwest.

The rapture is a relatively modern concept.Religious nuts twisting things to fit in with their personal death cult,so I'm not remotely worried.Plus Nostradamus and Mother Shipton said differently!;)
