Ever been to a UFO conference?

Am curious about anybody else’s experiences.Years ago there was one taking place nearby (Leeds, UK) so I bought a ticket. The people and speakers were really interesting. There was also an almost religious air to it. When Nick Pope began a talk the person next to me leaned over and darkly whispered 'Not a believer'.

No not to a real one, This forum kinda acts as an ongoing conference.

No but I met Johnatan reed/rutner near one I tried to talk to him but was told
"I don't answer questions for less than $100.00"

Seriously?...what an ass he is, that tells me right there he's a con artist...

Not here now , they used to have them ,meetings and conferences ect in a few states but they all seem to have gone defunct. The one here TUFOIC ran out of things happening and the membership collapsed although its still on the books but just not operating. So no conferences for me to attend. Here's a small list not sure if any of them are still valid.

I never finished as Reed exited quickly.
It was clear he was pissed.
Reed got into a van that speed off.
My friend Amber Vast was with me and said "who was that?"
I said "a jerk"
