So,, I post this not to judge or lecture anyone. I just want to know if anyone tried alternative home made liquid softeners.

The greenunist movement says fabric softeners are poisonous chemicals that harm both you and the environment.
Just google it and see for yourself,,

But its a huge difference using it or not using it. They do work. Without them clothes become hard and some produces static elec.

Heres a recipe they say work

    • 3 dL white Vinegar 24 %
    • 9 dL boiled and cooled water
    • 10 drops of esoteric lavendel oil
    • Mix into glass bottle for later use...

I still use the bad kind. But thinking to test the home made green stuff.

I've never used a fabric softener before, I always kind of considered it an unnecessary product for me I guess...I have a couple collared shirts that get static sometimes, but partially drying them in the dryer separately with static sheets and letting room temperature dry them the rest of the way seems to take care of the static...

No, i haven't tried making home made liquid softeners.

Most of the time i only use detergent to wash the clothes, i don't find the fabric softeners very necessary.

I will have to test it next week and report back to you guys.. just wonder where I will buy that esoteric oil.

The water here is so hard, because 50 % comes from the ground and the rest from a freshwater lake...

the dH is all screwed up, depending on how they decide to mix it at the waterplant.. They feed the water network from 2 opposite points. I'm exactly inbetween.. uuuhgh

my tests show that most people use fabric softener because they are using way to much detergent in the first place.
    here is the test.
take a wash rag that you have washed and dried. put it in a bowl of water and squeeze it a bit. if you see the detergent come out of it, you are using way to much.
most people I have got to try this end up using about 1/10 of what they were using before.
and when your machine can rinse out the detergent, it is better for your skin, and most people also find that they just don't need fabric softener anymore.

I have an organic pure castile liquid cleaner I use for the laundry, Hemp oil, Almond oil, along with 18 other oils and ingredients...Its very concentrated, just about a tablespoon for a full load of clothes or a teaspoon for a half load usually is all that's needed...The smell of the 'soap' is awesome, not overpowering, I use the same stuff to wash my hair and wash my dog lol...

Humanity has complicated evrything soo much.. Simple organic oils made into a soap works just as good if not even better than the synthetic factory gunk.. he ? Atleast I switched from the plastic toothpastes already

I saw this castile soap on the shelf of an organic veggie shop about 9 years ago and decided then gave it a go, been using it ever since...I wish I knew about it 20 years ago lol...

Hemp oil by itself is good for cooking in place of olive oil...Its easy to burn hemp oil if you're not careful, don't go over medium heat, especially if you're using ceramic cookware...

Dr. Bronner soap is not for me,
they leave free oils in the soap
and I am allergic to almost everything
very very few totally reacted soap on the market.
seems as if you have to make your own to get it in the last 15 years.

    2. HE STARTED HIS LIFE IN THE U.S. LECTURING ABOUT WORLD PEACE.

Bronner spent years spreading word of the life philosophy he called Bronner’s Peace Plan, which would eventually become “the Moral ABC.” The basic idea of his world view? If people stopped focusing on how we are different and instead thought about how we are the same, we would all be better off on this Spaceship Earth.”

I think I will order 1 bottle tonight and investigate all claims made when it arrives.

I like starchy clothes. I never use fabric conditioner our water is very soft and that's enough.

What part of the label are you referring to?...I'll look at it again when I go into the kitchen...

Did you buy a bottle?...That price is about right, it costs me 12 dollars a bottle USA locally might be cheaper online, haven't looked...
