To me racism is a matter of intent. Not the words that come out of my mouth at face value. As a typical Aussie we make politically incorrect often racist jokes all the time. But the race means little, you could substitute any race.Truth must be we all suffer the same condition but the tongue of the instigator is for ever tied by time. It was natural for slavery to be part of natural progression as my view on human behaviour is of the animal in denial of its own state. If chimps had the know how they would have the others doing things for them over night.
You can't speak your mind any more because the witch hunt is listening. One big wise monkey is what they want us to be. Think no evil. Right turn Clyde.
For example.
How do you confuse an Irishman.
Hold up two shovels and tell him to take his pick
Now I like Iris folks and reckon Irish girls have the hottest accent on the planet.
So i mean no racism in that joke, I could substitute any race in it.
The truth is, in Australia, if someone is teasing you, it means they like you.
I often make racist jokes, but I would also be the first one to come to your defense if I thought you were being persecuted. So would most decent Aussies. Then when we were done, we would probably take the piss out of you again. If I wanted to be derogatory or racist, you wouldn't have to wonder.
See what I mean, it is for me a matter of intent.
Don't be offended if I meant no offense
