I've been drawing a lot lately and doing a lot of things with photoshop, I don't know why, But I decided to reimagine the Travis Walton abduction. I don't know, It could have been any image I guess, I just can't seem to get this art bug out of my system lately.

What software are you using?
A verity of things, Most usually Adobe photoshop elements. But there are some things like cleaning up pixel work that works best in Ms paint. So I will usually switch back and forth between the both of them :)

The choice of colors here really makes this look scarier... Something visceral about it... reaches deep into the fear core with me... good job.

Thank you, bro, The idea at the time was fire, Travis was thinking fire not electricity or plasma, I was trying to match the colors with the glow of fire, It came out looking more like the red room from Amityville :p

To be historically accurate you should probably put him in the nearby Waffle House :)

That would make a fun project car. No doubt many already have.
Absolutely, I knew a guy that got a body conversion mod on a dodge viper done like Kitt, I saw it as a car show, It even had an AI in it. IT was just Siri though, But the panel instruments did equalize along with the voice :)

Apparently, there was a mass Ufo Sighting In New Jersey on September 15th, I hadn't heard about it but here is a video from YT,

In my best artistic interpretation, and having been to New Jersey I assume they just stood there like this.

Is October truly a heightened season for Activity? I didn't know that, but that's pretty interesting.

It begs me to wonder, if somehow the "ununderstood appeal of the sam Haine/ spiritual aspect of the harvest season, has any kind of connection.

I'm not an expert on history, But It's my understanding that the "Dark Aspect" of Halloween comes from ancient times because, in the autumn season, Vegetation begins to die out for the season, leading to the seasonal depression that most people get when: "all the seasonal colors go away" It's a time in the historical past, When because of lack of modern medications and that people had shorter lifespans on average, compound with the strain on resources like food, In this season, Mortality rates would rise dramatically on average.

In the far distant past, It was not uncommon to hear that someone or many people did not survive the winter. So the colder months were often associated with death and suffering. So much so, Those people weren't just afraid of dying, They were afraid of the many "spirits that may have burdened them or their families, So in ancient times, a practice was established, Called Sam Haine, It was a ritual where people would dress up as scary or monstrous things, to try to frighten away evil spirits. Over the centuries, This has taken many different forms, Harvest season, Harvest festival, Day of the dead, Sam Haine, All Hallows Eve, Because the day after Halloween is called All saints day. All Saints' Day - Wikipedia So the day before All Saints Day was called, "All Hallows Eve" as time progressed, The name evolved from All Hallows Eve To just Haloween.

I had to research all this once for some weird video I made. I don't remember which one it was.
