I wish I had got to know you longer Spaceman spiff.

    I see myself here.

I admire your stance on saying what you believe. We think
this way because we feel that the world is wrong.

    Indeed.

It is amazing how many folks had written to me privately on other forums who I should know?

"Oh hello George....by the way this so and so happened the other day...."

And I think obviously this guy remembers me but I cannot remember him/she lol

I am not saying that I am popular, it is just that I leave an 'impact' wherever I go.

A bit like a 'psychic footprint' So I think:- "Oh I will make out that I knew this guy all my life in case I may offend?"

I still do not know this other 'bob' character is...lol. Does he live here?

The thing about multimedia what I had found is the 'likes' that members leave behind for you.
Probably about 98% of members but you get the 2% who are out to get you because your views oppose theirs and so after a time you think that the 2% are actually the 98% because the 98% are hidden away...lol

A few weeks ago this famous magazine replied to a post that I was making as to feature me in their science journal, as they were looking for top stories. I cannot remember the magazine ...Scientific Times? I had seen it in newsagents.

I declined the offer only if the owner agreed. I did not feel it fair that, it was his forum and that this periodical should really approach the owner as to let him decide who and what? I never heard back.

He was a very nice guy.

    George:)

I always thought of it as a high voltage style.
He might of been a failed electrician and touched too many live circuits, giving him a permanent hairdo.

That's because it came from Sears or somewhere similar. Off the rack, not bespoke and it looks it Who made Apollo 11's American flag? - collectSPACE: Messages

According to a NASA Press Release of 3 July 1969, "the Stars and Stripes to be deployed on the Moon was purchased along with several others made by different manufacturers at stores in the area around the Manned Spacecraft Center near Houston. In order to attach the flag properly to its aluminum staff it was necessary to remove the binding and labels. For this reason the name of the manufacturer cannot be determined." (NASA Press Release 69-83E, 3 July 1969, on file at the JSC History Office).

Had we made the flag specifically for the mission it would have cost a bazillion spacebucks and taken years but would be perfectly flat.

There had also been other questions, like how did they get past the Van-Allen belts?

I am not sure if I am reading this correctly but the videos that I had watched show the flag flapping in the wind, which gives reasons to believe that this cannot be the moon as there is no wind

Going back to the original posting Shadowprofit makes a very good point. Either we share the same psychiatrist or we are both thinking people...lol

If people can move forward as to understand that aliens do exist and to get rid of this conjunction 'if' then we move forward.

    Uhhhh. No.

Those are real flags, really on the moon. They are wrinkly because they were relatively inexpensive flags that had been folded up and stowed for days at least and then hung on a frame by a man wearing an incredibly bulky space suit that didn't have the manual dexterity or the time to fart around ironing it.

There are multiple websites with LRO pics of Apollo (and other) equipment still sitting right where it was left, footprints, rover tracks. The other glamorous stuff would include garbage, bags of excrement and equipment they didn't need anymore. From what I've read Apollo 11's flag got knocked over by the ascent engine's blast when it took off. I believe the rest are upright but NASA theorizes that they have been bleached of all color by the sunlight and radiation.

Perhaps a new thread would be interesting to explore the lunar landings?

I am not entirely sure if they were genuine?

There is a lot of debate whether this was down to the 'Cold War'?

This is one of the (many) things I just can't comprehend, but chewing on it a while sounds like fun. Agreed. How about you find 'best evidence' for fakery - Kubrick, typewriter fonts, that military 'Hollywood' studio that filmed all the post war nuclear testing in the Pacific, whatever. I've heard a few doozies. Start a thread.

There was a good thread in here about JFK. When I finally saw my way through a DB Cooper book maybe there will be one of them too.

How did they get through the Van Allen belts? Dunno. Van Allen belt loop? LaGrange suspenders?

    Here's what I think happened.

I've been to the Johnson Space Center in Houston and saw the big Saturn V they had on it's side - since then it they may have cleaned it up and preserved it. I was there 20 years ago. I had to have drawn a million pictures of various rockets as a kid and like a Space Shuttle it's very familiar - and big. So when you're standing in front of it put down the thing you brought and go to the gift shop where they sell the proper Big-O-Mometer so you can get your head around the bigness. There's an add-on that explains the fact that the building sized thing flies.

I'd say that if you want to go to the Moon climb onto the top of one of those big bastards and light the fuse. Seems like 'returning a man safely to the Earth' was the hard part.

If things be that simple as to light a fuse?

The biggest question with us UFO buffs, is what are the astronauts doing on the moon anyway?
The statement of 'seen it...done it had it' soon wears off and we are just left with an impression of the lunar landscape perhaps taken in the Arizona desert and some wind blown flags supposedly taken on the moon to say that they got there first.

Having explored little craters for life and finding nothing we ask ourselves where does this great UFO mystery fit in?

If I can be in my garden and end up with radiation burns on half my face what excuse has NASA for not finding anything up there?

The question is poised many times over on why we are led to believe in one direction whilst the greater truth is hidden?
It sends an ill founded deceit across the whole spectrum of space exploration and creates more questions than answers.

NASA is no closer now to life on Mars than what we were 2,000 years ago.
    (or the moon)

It deals the joker card to everyone expecting the truth.

It also amazes me how we could send rockets to the moon (fuse or no fuse) with the old triode valves back in 1968 and tin foil and find it harder to do that now.

    Just my thoughts.

fermi paradox. i think it comes about because of the evolution of the jungian collective unconscious. you dont need guys at nasa wiping photos. the collective unconscious does it on its own. it protects us from alien threats but at the samd time it alters our conscious understanding of reality. so our satellite can pass an alien ship and they just see raw materials... strange and somewhat out of place but they dont see us. cloaks them from us as well. i found this out last night. met shapeless people... in a dream not real.... then they took shape, looked human but were afraid. anyway. had to find you guys. solved for fermi i think. thank you black jelly bean people from the future..., dont pay attention to that. thats for them. i just wanted to say thank you. ok i see you now.

Welcome to AE, I've considered that our search for life is to narrow, I'm in the camp that if we encountered intelligent life we may not even recognize it. You know, Because it's "intelligent life..." I'll be back later I forgot my daily dose of nihilism it seems.

lol... but so far we havent even recognised unintelligent life.... unless you count plankton outside the ISS. we havent even found food in space. you cant tell me their is no food in space... or some guy from nasa is hiding it... that seems a convenient explanation. im telling you man.... this collective unconscious, whatever it is is messing with our reality hiding us from them and them from us.
