Flash of light

I have a camera system outdoors on my land and house, one such camera faces west through a meadow and whilst I was briefly looking at all the cameras on the monitors I saw a flash of light on the west facing camera...No other camera showed a flash of light, most are dark and waiting for a motion detector to set off a light and two are night vision cameras that showed nothing...

Maybe the flash was a meteor or something...

That reminds me of stories from astronauts. They would report that they would see flashes of lights, but it was internal. After returning to Earth they put their helmets under a powerful microscopes and found penetrations from particles. The cosmic particles would strike the receptors in their eyes and it appeared to be a flash of light. Maybe electronics are effected by the same phenomenon.

Interesting, maybe also it was a flash from a spectrum of light that we or I would not have noticed first hand if I was outside in that area but had to see it recorded digitally recorded to notice it...

Without us being able to see it our opinions and ideas are little to no value.
That said...you may be correct. Another possibility might be a strong spotlight that firefly was aimed toward that camera.
