I'm guessing they don't get weather like this all that much in this region of Europe...

    ...

It’s living Hell! Post-apocalyptic images and videos of deadly tornado and insane hailstorm that ravaged the Czech Republic

At least five people died and more than a hundred were injured when a tornado and hailstones the size of tennis balls hit the Czech Republic’s south-east on Thursday night. Video footage from the region on social networks showed buildings razed to the ground, tipped-over cars and buses, shorn tree stumps and several fires with thick black smoke. “It’s living hell,” said the South Moravia regional governor, Jan Grolich, on Thursday after visiting the area.

I have seen some of them.

even my weather is very odd lately,
a bit to hot this time of year, and now it just rained a few drops,
it is overcast here... people over here are confused as to why it is not sunny.
    very very strange weather.
but I suspect that it is only going to get stranger.

I have seen some wild hail storms, but nothing like that one in France. In the 60's a week after my dad planted a new tree in the front yard (bigger than a sapling) we had a hail storm that destroyed that tree and a lot of the neighbor's roofs. In the 80's when I lived in southern New Mexico my co-worker and I were on the balcony facing the parking lot when a hail storm started. We both had just bought new cars, so we were watching to see how bad it was. A guy was coming towards the building and a hail hit him so hard it knocked him down. One of the appraisers was on his way out to do some work so he had a clip board. He ran with the clipboard over his head and helped the man get into the building.

We are still getting low temperatures for this time of year and extra humidity. It has been solid clouds for 3 days and temps in the low 70's. It is trying to rain again off and on. And the humidity is almost 60%.

I hope everyone in a place with heat wave temperatures can stay safe.

Heat wave broke with a crash last night. I fell asleep on the couch yesterday afternoon with all the drapes drawn - have to to give the A/C a chance to keep up. I woke up because 52lb Pie the Piedog had jumped onto the back of the couch behind my head and was trying to crawl behind my back. Totally flipped her cookies and we had a really severe wind/thunder/lightening storm. Poor girl. The two cats mocked her.

The neighborhood's a mess. I have a pretty good hanger in a tree out back I have to deal with. Big sucker hanging from a small bit 15-20 feet up. Think I might get one of the long come-alongs I have and see if I can let gravity finish the job.
