hI wwkirk, no it's not photoshopped, it's an actual 'quirk of nature photograph' my friend. ... unfortunately, I seem to have given the wrong impression [that it was one of my own photos] ... I actually got this picture from FB and added the little narrative for humour. Of course now I see that it is probably only 'humorous' if you actually knew just what a little chicken my Freddy-boy is. ... in fact if that thing was growing in the woods at the back of my house, then i'd probably not see him again unless I took Pigfarmer's advice and out my chainsaw to the ugly stump of living wood!

Well apparently it turns out that they are Grains of salt under an electron microscope. ... Weird or what!
