I've reached the end of season 2 now, actually a couple episodes into season 3...I'm enjoying it, the story is unfolding nice, and some of the white walkers look more barbaric and primitive than those later in the series...lol

IMO, Battle of The Bastards was the most epic battle scene in GoT. :)

I skipped around a slight bit last night watching season 5 episode 8, my god the dead army is growing, how can they stop an army that is revived after their killed?...The scene when hundreds of dead soldiers are running off the cliff into the wildlings fort to swarm the fortress was amazing, loved the guy helping Jon Snow yelling out "Oh Fuck!" after they see those dead bodies diving off the cliff and dropping at their feet as they try to run away from that mess lol...

Why do you skip around and not watch straight through? I think you are cheating yourself from becoming invested in each character and their story development by doing that. Although, I know you already saw most of season 8 and the ending before you began.

I'm just curious, why do you do that, do you get bored?

I tend to have difficulties following television shows, I don't really watch much television at all nor movies but once in a while when a show like this one has drawn my interest I tend to skip around a bit when I first begin watching which seems to grab more of my interest to keep watching to see how the story unfolds...If I just started fresh without looking ahead to whats coming in the show, I have in the past lost interest quickly and stop watching the show all together, if I don't sneak peek ahead lol...

I'm about finished with the second season now, I watched two episodes last night following through where I left off in the story...

I have that problem when a show takes a long break between seasons. I forget where I left off and it is difficult to find links to catch up so I get bored and stop watching altogether. Not with this show. I was always foaming at the mouth for more. lol

All hail Bran the stoner. Long may he toke. Seriously, I commend the writers for knowing that their show was essentially a story going nowhere, so picking the baked kid under the tree is at least the most hilarious choice. I hope King's Landing is stocked with Doritos and Twinkies, because they're going to need them. Stupid ending. Total contrived. Tyranny, yawn. The dragons were the best part of the show. Now that you've killed the mother of dragons, you can't do a spin off with more dragons. 6 episodes feels like they just wanted to get it over with. Actors didn't want to do it anymore or something. At the start of this season, my wife predicted Bran would be king. Sigh.

How long has it been since the last book? 8 years? Who do we have to blame for that?

This episode would have had a lot more weight if Arya had died killing the Night King. The episode needed at least one death of a character who wasn’t one of the "safe" choices. Most underwhelming payoff for the most build-up ever.

This episode just wasn't that great to me. Not a 10 that is. An 8 I would give it.The white walker fight was only cool when Jon was fighting it and when the night King redirected all the newly minted wights. What was so spectacular about the rest of the fight? The wights don't look scary they fight by jumping on you so they can bite you or some of them have swords that they use like regular sellswords and soldiers that we've seen. I get it though, "massive undead army marching on you. Oooooh scary!" but in all honestly they weren't impressive looking and definitely didn't fight like anything to fear (if you have enough people to fight against them). The only true threat is because they can multiply in numbers as soon as someone dies which again we saw the night King do (admittedly that was cool to see) and the white walkers have super-human, ultra-powered strength and they look menacing so it was cool to see that as well. But as for the undead by themselves ...unimpressive.I did like the way they built up what was coming with suspense. But the skeletons just aren't freaky enough and they can easily be dealt with.I guess people are easily entertained.

Yes!! This episode is the magnum opus of the series to me. I wanted to see Ramsey suffer a lot more, Kinda was hoping we'd see Sansa do to him what he did to Reek before killing him in a very slow and painful way. But I guess when it comes to a guy like him, it can never be slow enough and painful enough to satisfy. As soon as the episode ended I texted my friend and told him it was the best episode they have ever done and I think it is!

I'm up to season 7 now, finished off season 6 last night...I was wondering how Bran knew so much about the white walkers and night king, he saw how they began...Then Jon Snow getting killed by his own men, I knew he died and was revived but I assumed he got killed by a walker, not by his own men...
