Two new near identical messages of woe - seems Gene is working harder on the storylines for his fans.

First (I think this is for newsletter subscribers):

Three on a weekend!
Hi,

You probably won’t believe this, even if you’ve followed my ongoing odyssey for the past few years.

So Saturday at 10:00 AM, I was at the motel editing one of the shows when there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see the front desk clerk, who wanted to remind me that we had to leave in an hour.

Shocked and surprised? Absolutely!

When I first registered, I was informed that I could easily extend my reservation simply by contacting the front desk and telling them that I planned to stay, and for how long.

They accepted this game plan until they didn’t. I protested that I had called the front office early that morning about extending my stay, but the clerk wouldn’t budge; she even denied I made that call. She told me we had an hour to pack all our stuff and leave. I ended up calling the chain’s customer support line, but no dice. The room had already been allocated to someone else, and there were no other “pet friendly” rooms available.

I called around and found an available room ahead of the usual 3 PM check-in time, and made a reservation.

I was granted another hour or two to leave, and in the end it took two hours and two carloads for us to get our stuff moved to the new location.

It didn’t end there. I fell twice during the forced move, and I’ll be paying the chiropractor a visit Monday morning to find the cause of the various aches and pains.

In the meantime, I ended up filing a complaint with the chain.

It doesn’t end there.

The new motel is worse. The air conditioner had to be replaced, and the room has the odor of insecticide. Worse, Barbara and I saw roaches wandering around the room.

We’re moving out to what I hope are better accommodations.

Three motels in two days.

Despite all this, I managed to get the radio shows edited and posted, including the premium ad-free versions, but I gave up a night’s sleep to get it all done.

This is no way to live, and now I have to confront my money troubles again for the coming week.

Can you help me survive a while longer?

So many new storylines and just unbelievable crap here.

1. A new "forced" move. If this even happened you can bet it was because Gene didn't extend his stay in time or kept trying to avoid paying and the motel staff got fed up and rented the room out to someone else. That's IF it actually happened.

2. He still took forever to leave and again with the ridiculous two car loads of stuff. Why do they have 2 carloads of stuff in the motel room? What is the storage that donations keep being solicited for being used to store? Two elderly people and a small dog shouldn't need carloads of stuff for a motel stay.

3. He fell twice and will now have to see a chiropractor. What complete nonsense. I knew the last time this happened he would be bringing it back at some point. He will soon be asking for money to pay the chiropractor.

4. The next motel was so bad they had to immediately move to a new one. Again I think this is a complete fabrication. I could also make a joke that Gene should feel right at home with other cockroaches. Presumably the insecticide was there to keep insects like him out.

So 3 motels in 2 days. I don't believe it. At most there was one move (due to Gene not paying on time) and even that is questionable.

It seems to me like Gene is trying to create a new tale of woe so he can get money for his new topline Iphone XS.

Gene must have it as soon as it is available and the most expensive one is $1500 so he needs to get those donations coming in fast.

He can't have an out of date Iphone (he knew Jim Moseley and various other forgotten people in UFOlogy and so is the above all other people). Only regular people have old model phones.

Plus let's not forget that Gene always needs more casino money and he probably needs to change his car to something he can't afford too.

Those things won't pay for themselves.

I never read all the way through his messages. But I was taken aback to get two identical one in one day.

He still thinks his site being vacant is the fault of someone else, I saw his reply to you...He's always the victim...q34

He's going to have to change his name.

I'll bet someone's bullshit detector went off and they put his name into Google. "Oh, my!"

I kind of hope so. He deserves to lie in the bed he made.

I'd say there's an excellent chance he just didn't tell them he was going to "extend his stay" in time (despite his claim), and is making it the motel's fault. But hey at least his podcast got edited!

Supposedly, he moved three times in two days. I wonder if it registers in his thick skull what is actually going on. This is all on Steinberg, not the motels he is staying at. I don’t believe for a minute he hurt his legs. Every disaster is only a premise to beg for more funds. Doesn’t he realize that people see through his constant pleas for cash.

Hey Gene, we all have our own problems to deal with. How many times do you think that you can go to the well with your nonsense? Get off you dead ass and find a real job!!

Once again I have to wonder why Gene is going a day at a time in motels when he could probably get a weekly rate. It's not like he's going anywhere anytime soon, unless he's thrown out again. Find somewhere with a cheaper weekly rate, or try to negotiate one, and get on a cycle of paying when the Social Security benefits hit. Seems possible, anyway.

Well assuming he's telling the truth about this day at a time nuttiness.

And also, yet again, if his real goal is getting another apartment, you'd think he'd be in one of the cheapest motels he could find from the start, not after almost 3 months at an Extended Stay America.

Perpetual liars have a hard time remembering what lies they have told. After years of BS to bring in the money, he can’t keep his stories straight anymore.

How about this scenario: the Steinbergs move into a new motel room. Wonderful Gene starts giving the staff a ration of shit. The care of room is not to his liking. Motel management is looking for any little infraction to send the Steinbergs on their merry way.

Thus, they are moving from one motel chain to another in rapid succession.

Steinbeg is an entitled prick at the best of times.

One can presume that he really tests the patience of the motel staff by making excessive demands. It is likely that he pushes his luck with trying to pay his bill as late as he possibly can and also tries to wrangle extras and freebies he is not entitled.

The Gene Steinbeg mantra is "try not to pay at all but if you have to pay, pay as late as possible and get as much for free as you possibly can".

If this is all true and he really has been kicked out twice then he may be fast approaching a time when all the decent local motels blacklist him via word of mouth as it is likely that word spreads fast in the motel community.

He absolutely deserves it though.

The guy treats everyone else like crap but expects that everyone else should give him special treatment like an old world aristocrat.

Being forced to live in a truly low rent motel might confront him with the realities of life that he has so far been cushioned from.

That might also get him to refocus on what is important, like spending money on necessities (not Iphones and fancy cars) and getting a real job instead of indulging adolescent fantasies about being a radio personality (that most sane people would have given up on in their twenties).

Then again being Steinbeg - with his skewed and twisted mind, it might just make him believe that he needs to become even more extravagant in his begging and parasitic schemes.
