I hope so. Too many scumbag conmen in the paranormal field.
Someone posted this over on UFO trail:
That's well before the supposed legal issues he's been blaming for his financial problems...
I think that was the start of the legal issues but the thing is that Steinberg always claimed that Numis Gems (which was prosecuted for fraud and theft) was his brother in law's company and had nothing to do with him.
This letter (assuming it is genuine and it looks to be so) proves that not to be the case. It seems he held 3 major roles there before the date of this letter.
Wow, indeed, and I had not seen that document before. Rather makes it seem like anything Numis Gems related post this transfer was a Gene Steinberg production, and yet, if one looks at the site via archive.org, in 2014 the 'letter' on the site welcome page is signed Steve. Perhaps it was transferred back or... who knows. Maybe Gene temporarily held the company to try to shield it from whatever financial comeuppance Beizer was undergoing. But this ties into the copyright on the website being for "Making the Impossible" in 2004. Whatever went on here, it feels shady.
Of course, Gene could have still loaned his sister-in-law's husband money subsequent to this. I mean, if one can imagine money actually flowing out of the Gene Steinberg cash black hole, in defiance of all we know about the physics of Gene and money.
Gene at the Paracast forum speculates if his detractors' backgrounds got a similar looking-into as his all kinds of things would be turned up for them as well. Somehow, Gene, I doubt it. Your mistake, once again, is in imagining everyone operates as you do. That's just not the case. For the most part the world runs on honesty. If all men were Gene Steinberg, civilization would consist of little more than a bunch of protohumans hoarding nuts while screeching at their fellows for berries.
You took the words right out of my mouth, Goblin.
I've got nothing to hide, and I don't think any of the other "detractors" do either; that's just the flapping of gums of a "sad little king, of a sad little hill."
and that hill is falling down...
Log in if you seek some peace and quiet! ☺
Wow! That tells you everything you need to know about THE PARACAST. Lyin' sack o' shit.
LOL well played.
If I recall, he called the last motel a fleabag motel who's bed hurt his back each night. How dare they not provide a Tempur-Pedic mattress upon Gene's request! This man was a legendary AOL Usenet group moderator, don't they realize that?
He should kneel down and pray that he has a roof over his head and that he doesn't have to be out in the Arizona heat.
Fucking right dude it's sickening!
Gene to landlord "Do you know who i am ?!"
Landlord to Gene "Sorry I thought Boris Karloff was dead."
"Expect to hear from my potential pro bono lawyers by the end of the day"
The one area where Gene can show his expertise:
Just in from firstname.lastname@example.org : "A miserable day-to-day existence!"
His air of entitlement is a thing to behold.
And wow he got a spam email trying to extort money; so did a lot of people. Gene, sometimes you're just paranoid. He has to make himself out a victim and portray his critics as vicious criminals tough.
But as for me I feel like I am getting too mean about all this stuff, and I don't like that in myself. Yes I think Gene is crooked, yes J. Randall Murphy's actions appear contemptible to me at times, but I don't want or need to get so cruel in my remarks on these things. Let me see if I can back off some.
And I still don't see Gene's kingdom falling anytime soon though I do believe it is firmly in a decline that's bound to continue. I also believe that he'll be sending begging emails so long as he has access to a device with email and McDonald's has free wifi, so, likely the rest of his days. Years to come. And I also believe that getting the truth about Gene out there continues to be important.
But anyway, thanks for the place to vent and jointly marvel at all things Gene! I'm sure I won't disappear from this thread, but I am going to try to reign myself in some, see if I can't focus more on some positive and /or interesting things.
Totally called this one on my last post. If I didn't know better, Gene's been lurking for ideas on his next begging email.
I also like how he ties anything online scam related or even reviews on his ride sharing to the online stalkers. As if those aren't issues everyone comes across.
"One of my stalkers tried to get my information online!"
"One of my stalkers ran a red light in front of me!"
"One of my stalkers cut me in line at the supermarket!"
"One of my stalkers gave me a dirty look at the post office!"
Seriously Gene, it might be time to start seeking professional help here.
Well Dull and Boring Podcast tech geniuses, I guess you didn't know and couldn't be arsed to spend fifteen seconds on Google finding out that Conforums closed down months ago. But I suppose it's not like Casebook is your competitor or anything. That forum moved and is alive and well here:
