Georgia guide stones destroyed

So they have cameras on the site but have not released the portion of video showing the bomb being installed, I assume because of the investigation...I read a few sources which claim that the explosion shows it may have been Tannerite used because of the way the debris was ejected...I don't know enough about explosives to agree or disagree...

They were apparently modern and this is vandalism not the destruction of antiquities. Some group out of state with deep pockets decided to make their point, state their values, on those big stones. Sounds like hubris and an excess of free time and money to me. Give the $$ to St.Judes's or the pet shelter or a food bank, not a pile of rocks.

Tannerite. Commonly encountered in shooting circles. I never gave two ***s about reactive targets. Hillbilly fun. Any serious handloader knows how to really blow stuff up but good.

Incidentally, all anything needs to do is be here a while and it becomes cool. Apparently this was commissioned by some group of nitwits that wanted to make an expression of their feelings in rocks. Their opinion, their ideas, not Truths About The Universe or any such thing. But let the thing sit there for ten thousand years or so and poof ! That's what people think it is.

Wouldn't it be absolutely hilarious to find out the lines on the plains of Nasca were made by the local equivalent of 'that crazy ****er who lives out there by hisself' or that some of the depictions Erich von Däniken has been going on about were the result of a hellacious ayahuasca binge that nobody wanted to admit to for years, like a wedding reception at which a relative got carried away and nobody will mention it .......

Those guide stones have been around for 40 years or so. I’m surprised some redneck hadn’t destroyed it earlier.

The shadow

The shadow knows!
I'm looking for any news it would be rebuilt. Any chance of it being rebuilt?

I looked around the internet. No word yet if they will be rebuilt. Those stones were erected 42 years ago. Is the person or group of people still alive? If they do rebuild those guide stones you can bet there will be more security in place.

Excavation at Georgia Guidestones Site Finds No Sign of Apocryphal Time Capsule

In something of a strange silver lining to the demise of the Georgia Guidestones, the removal of the monument allowed for an answer to a longstanding mystery over whether or not there was a time capsule buried at the location. The controversial roadside attraction, which some conspiracy theorists believe represented a proverbial call to action for the New World Order, was partially destroyed by an explosion last Wednesday morning and then completely dismantled shortly thereafter due to safety concerns. In the process, workers were able to get to the bottom of a tangential mystery associated with the monument which came about thanks to an enigmatic plaque that had been installed near the piece.

After knocking down the sizeable granite pillars which constituted the Guidestones, workers reportedly removed an additional stone tablet that had been installed some time following the construction of the monument. The peculiar plaque featured an inscription asserting that there was a time capsule buried beneath it at a depth of around six feet. No doubt wondering if the curious claim was true, workers proceeded to excavate the area to the prescribed level and, unfortunately, found nothing there. They also observed that the dirt was compacted to a degree which would indicate that the land had not been disturbed in quite some time, seemingly precluding that possibility that the apocryphal time capsule had been secretly spirited away sometime in the recent past.

In a testament to the manner in which fake news can quickly spread on social media, the tale of the alleged time capsule gave rise to a viral claim last week that the material had been recovered and consisted of amusing items from the era when the Guidestones were built, such as an 8-track of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. Elbert County officials squashed those rumors when they announced that there was actually no time capsule at all. While questions surrounding relics allegedly buried at the site have seemingly been answered, authorities in Georgia continue to pursue the far greater mystery of who was responsible for last week's monument-shattering blast.

I was watching a YouTube video by Steve Isdahl. He is a big game hunting guide who is interested in Bigfoot and the paranormal. He mentioned something to the effect that George Soros and Klaus Schwab were behind the building of the Georgia Guide Stones. Where he came up with this info he did not say.
