Do you wander around any on our planet using Google ?
I use the app in my tablet and visit lots of different places on a weekly basis :laugh8: Zooming out and in,, and diving down
to have a look see on street view.

Here I stopped in front of a house by the road in Chile.. looks like they offering some refreshments. Matee con Huisillo ?

Any special areas of interest . Looking at properties or landscapes ?.. Like I mentioned, I just generally wander around.
Japan is a favourite place I often visit online. Been there once IRL.

You can go all over Japan.....I've been to Hashima Island, Hiroshima, Nagasaki and up in the area hit by the Tsunami in 2011. I've also wandered around Tern and Sand Island in French Frigate Shoals, Midway Atoll, Macmurdo Station in Antarctica and numerous places in Europe. They also have stret view all the way down the Grand Canyon.

I have done this a lot in the past using street view but haven't really done so recently.. I did it when I was younger because one of my best friends had moved away and I would put in their new address and just wonder what their new life was like there.

Then when I wanted to awesome places I would look at them the same way and pretend I was there ;)

Not everything in google look the same tho, places like in KL tends to change all the time.. what looks like a empty land in google is actually buildings in real life.

Try it. Choose a celeb. Go outside a property with street view and report back. The roads on public land are free for Google to use their camera cars on. They blank faces and number plates, offering some discretion

I mostly visit Miami, NYC, and the Bahamas. But sometimes I do explore different places on our planet, like last week I went wandering around Alexandria, Egypt. Arabs ruined Egypt. :(

Me too, when m Son went to Space Camp in the US and to Japan as an exchange student I checked out the areas he was in. Also tried to catch him on webcams in Japan but no luck. lol Would have loved to send him a text saying, hey, I like your green top. Where are you walking to now. lol

Yup, totally used Google Earth to wander far away places. As well as places I've been in the past or am about to visit.
