Not really much strange about it......it has been abandoned for over 40 years.

I find that a little strange. That the island is of no use..

My Samsung tablet quit on me indefinitely today. 5 years of surfing blew out the charging IC. RIP.. No more Google Earth

The coal seem played out....Hashima Island does allow limited tourists.

It is a cool place to explore crawling over rubble among the buildings.....

Everything actually. The sky. That slope.
the green vegetation. The soil.. That chunk of melting snow in the lower right part..

Could be russia also, far up north

Its somewhere that any American citizen has seen a picture of......and it is north of the Phillipines.
