I am a black man originally belonging to the Chamara tribe of India but I was born and live in America.
I am a Buddhist by religion and I believe in the karmic philosophy which is a part of Buddhism and I believe in the Buddhist concept of mind.
Modern westerners describe the mind as if it were an object, a single thing, a monolithic structure contained within itself.
Buddha defines the mind as “Luminous and knowing”, in Tantric Buddhism the mind is of clear light.
I bow my head and offer a Hello, appropriate in an English speaking audience.
