Before I begin This post doesn't exclude anyone, I never do that in any post I make. Everyone is welcome.

What I am looking for is, Any Pc repair tool recommendations you guys may have?

I work on a lot of Pcs, So many so, I'm ashamed to admit this, I have a modded pair of sunglasses that Hide a 32 gig USB flash drive, On this Stick, I have A USB bootable windows 10 install, You can choose between Windows 10 and 7 ultimate X 32 or X 64, I have Fprot antivirus for windows and CCcleaner to clean up registries and a one-off install for Google Chrome.

These tools, Are usually all I need. But, To those Who truly have had to Format a PC and Boot a system that doesn't have an Os on it, What Boot tools Do you recommend? I'm curious.

I can always use more tools...

Believe it or not, While I did not fix that particular gateway pc, I did, in fact, use a hammer on it. It was the most therapeutic pc repair I ever performed.

It was an old 32-bit legacy bios. As we all know those old motherboards are weighed down with X86 features single core processors <which no one uses anymore > And Bios boot support for old Floppy drives. Those old pc's that are too old to be useful anymore. You would be surprised how many pieces you can hammer a motherboard into before one tires.

Well, not to hijack your thread but I was thinking of a call center application dedicated server I put in for GE years ago. It generated shitloads of OT for me, was the cause of Much Concern, and no doubt caused many people to advance or decline through their Six Sigma kung-fu bullshit. People were hired & fired and corporate decisions made based based on the metrics it produced.

Then one day it was all over and it was in my garage and I was ripping power supplies and hard drives out of it for something much more mundane. Talk about satisfaction.

Ahhh, the good old days ....
