Here's What Happens When a Higgs Boson Dies — and What It Means for Particle Physics

Six Years Ago, The Discovery of the Higgs Boson set the scientific community on fire, physicists have now observed how the particle decays —This is an incredible boon to the Standard Model of physics and the understanding of the universe at large.

This decay only happens 60 percent of the time but the Higgs boson particle will decay into fundamental particle called a bottom quark (b quarks).

See that? That's not Quark, So I assume It's b Quark :/

Now, I'm not just Shabby with my physics, But I'm not out there changing the current understanding of physics either, But To my understanding, If this lends to the Standard model, Does this not lean away from General Relativity? Would it seem this discovery even lends to a positively curved closed finite universe?

While I'm not jumping the Gun just yet. It is my understanding that this discovery of the Higgs Decay, does lean toward some fascinating ideas, Like String theory, Multiverse theory, Alternate timelines and causality.

I'm just saying, When It's all said and done, This discovery doesn't really empirically tell us anything, but that a Higgs boson will decay, But, It hints toward so much more.

What a Great Day for Science.
