Holiday fire

[SOUL-DRIFTER]

I did not have one but a coworkers uncles garage burned a bout 10 days ago and on Christmas day an 71 year old man and his dog perished in a house fire only a few miles down the road from me.
I have not hear what caused it, but around this part of the country wood stoves are a big culprit of fires.

So sorry to hear this, SOUL-DRIFTER. Did you know the man down the street from you? It always shocks me to hear about people and animals perishing in fire. The man probably never woke up and the dog had no way to escape. It's a terrible way to go.

I did not know him no.
At work it was talked about and he had supposedly gone through a fire a few years back. This home was a replacement from what I understand.
At least this wasn't a fire that killed children and a whole family. We had one of those it seemed every year somewhere in the state on or near Christmas.
