It would seem to me that being on a boat just off shore would the place to be. Every once in a while you cruise in close and make a lot of noise to get the Zombie's attention, then you chum the water around you and of course the Zombies are going to go wading out trying to reach you. Let nature solve the problem, hammer heads, great whites, bull sharks, crock's, and of course there's the sport of running them down with your outboard. I just can't imagine a Zombie would be a good swimmer, but even in the rare event one or two are, there really shouldn't be a lot of trouble dispatching them.

Did you notice something about the map ? Tasmania isn't even mentioned on it. That's because they forget we are down here. Best place to be when the Zomapocs happens.

Starve to death no food or water and heat stroke . Survivalists may survive but ordinary people won't. Unless your a blackfella you could end up in a lot of trouble.

I think I could find a good spot to make a base camp in that remote area, and set up a secondary go to base in case a few zombies did make it out there and find me or if gangs of mad max radical types overrun my camp...

Yes that's the way to go. Take this with you and fill it with water. I really do think that the Zombies will cook like bacon when they get out there IF they ever do.

Yeah I don't think in the desert I'd have to worry much about zombies, just the scavenger road warriors to deal with...Just me and my dog...
Well even now, if something world changing were to occur, famine, disease, nuclear war, or zombie apocalypse, my gear is packed and ready, at a moment's notice I'm grabbing my stuff and my dog and heading to the mountains...Good luck in ever finding me, I know places few if any would look and I know where fresh water and food is up there too...

So is mine. I got an ex army backpack filled with stuff if I got to go. I know some out of the way caves to go live in in the Black Hills . Plenty of roos and possums to eat. I really wonder how the city folks will go when they end up in the bush without a clue about survival ?

Caves are good protection, I think a secondary location should always be chosen, even if no provisions are stationed there, just a go to place in case of unforeseen circumstances where you might need to evacuate or abandon the first choice spot...
People in the city will be like children in the wild country, most won't survive me thinks, unless one or two in the group has some survival knowledge...
