Still waiting for the storm to hit Central Virginia. It's in the mountains of NC right now.

I just saw some of the damage on The Weather Channel.

Yeah we got it here, heavy winds blowing about 45-50 mph, the heavier rains are just north of me but we are getting all the winds...My power has flashed a few times, it hasn't gone out yet...My pecan tree is losing all it's leaves now lol...

Barely a drizzle with no wind in Richmond. The anticipation is kind of scary. I hope it stays more to the north and passes over DC.

Well, my pecan tree has been deleafed lol, no serious damage at my place, I did however drive around the neighborhood and saw a couple trees down, nothing serious though...All of the heavy winds are about gone, spots of light rain are speckled about right now, I haven't looked at the radar though...I didn't lose power at my house but my mom lost power briefly fro about 30 minutes...

For today, 10/29/20, the forecast is for 1.5 inches of rain and the temp. is around 50 degrees F. This is the first rain we have had in a week or so.

The sun is shining here now. This storm really moved fast! I haven't heard anything about downed trees or power lines where I live.
