This is something I should have done a long time ago, I've always had problems Bonding with people. This Week I spent playing video games it was Awesome. As I spent time with her, I realized It wasn't about the Video Games with my Stepdaughter, She just wanted me to be there Talking and spending time with her.
I learned She's depressed, Something Any decent stepfather would Already have known, But I'm just learning this,
She is having Issues, Getting over an Ex Boyfriend of hers, And She is thinking of Getting a Girlfriend, But she is scared to Tell her mom and Dad, I'd never had this conversation with anyone before, so I told her, There is no Wrong person To love, Male Or female, I told her a story about a Girl I dated once, Who's Family was Very Wealthy and Some What snobbish toward me, " Don't get me wrong they were Good people, They just didn't like me: The Guy with no Future plans and Dreams of working at Seti lol"
But, I Told her, In almost every Case of two people getting into a relationship, There is always someone, somewhere that is opposed to the Idea of it, I told her to Love someone with her heart and There is no way she can mess up by doing that.
IDK, I Hope it was the right advice, It seemed to cheer her up.
It's Sad that I'm just now Beginning to Bond with people, What A Fool I've been, All My life.
