I just came by to let you guys know, I'm not gone,. as in gone-gone, No, The truth is, And this will sound bad. I got a Nintendo Switch and the new Zelda, and that Mario Odessey. I've literally been obsessively playing Zelda this entire time. Um, I have full plans to return soon. It's just I haven't had this much fun playing video games in literal years.

I just didn't want people thinking I was off in some somber depressive state. I've just been getting high playing Zelda and the pot really makes the game immersive. I may be addicted to this game, But. I am coming back soon,

But First, I have to defeat Ganon, It's almost personal at this point, Love that Game.
See ya soon, SP.

I think a therapist would suggest that you try to befriend Mr. Ganon. :laugh8:

Oh, bro, I'd totally befriend Ganon. That guy needs some weed in the worst way. I feel strongly he would change his evil ways if he could just get ahold of some northern lights lol

I mean, Me and my wife talk sure, But she's not in-depth on any of the topics and subjects I like I've really missed this place :) Thanks brother :)

Thanks, Guys, :D I know there is a thread about it, I've been keeping up with that CoronaVirus, I think It's called Covid-19 now. 69 thousand infected, 1,666 dead. I've been checking this page, Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS

I know analytically the recovery rate is good and looking better, But the spread of the virus is scary, I mean just last week it was 33 thousand infected. I worry that this coronavirus will never be contained and everyone is destined to catch it eventually. Kind of like the flu, Weirdly, It's hit china the hardest, I know China is ground zero for the virus, but still it's spreading like chaos over there. :( They claim it could be eighteen months before we have a vaccination for it.

Well, hunkered down in the bunker with the wife, dogs and video games is a good way to avoid it. Unless the guy that delivers pizza has it .... :)

The funny thing about pizza, I usually cook and make my own pizza, Last weekend, I ordered pizza hut. I don't know what it is about pizza hut, But it's way not as a good as I remember it, It seems like they changed it up, The flavor is just off now. I've wondered it's cause I'm getting old and sensations are just different. But, No, It seems like pizza hut doesn't taste nearly as good these days. I don't know what's up.

It's good to hear from you Shadowprophet. And I come here for much the same reason: it's very rare to find folks in our local communities who enjoy discussing and exploring topics at the bleeding edge of human experience and understanding, so a good and well-managed forum like this one gives us a precious opportunity to do so here in cyberland.

I think that for some of us, exploring these kinds of topics is an intellectual need that must be met, or else we can feel eerily isolated and ultimately unfilled. Kinda like the guy in Phenomenon who began to psychologically unravel because he didn't have anyone to discuss his extraordinary new ideas with.

Thank you brother, And that's true, It's something they don't teach in school, The endlessly curious don't fit really neatly into ordinary circles. It's hard to speak about this subject because some people find it to be an elitist topic but it's not, It's just, A lot of people find contentment in the decline after college, But intellectualism isn't a prize that can be permanently obtained, It's like muscle mass, If we don't exercise it and feed that curiosity it leaves us. I never want to lose what I've worked so hard to hold on to for so long. The truth is, Some people are truly gifted, But others have to study constantly just to obtain an understanding. For me, I do fear a time when I become so content with my life that I lose myself in it.

I have to feed my curiosity, It's part of who I am.

I find that as I get older, curiosity gives way to the simpler things...

This weekend, I was on a trail ride... the horses all knew the route, so the ride was mindless... they all just wanted to stay near the butt of the horse in front.

I tugged the rein to the side so Diamond would move where I could see the open trail ahead.

After the ride, I spent a good half hour talking to Diamond, reminiscing about a horse I owned once... telling Diamond that horses were probably one of the most magnificent creatures on earth.

He acted like he had heard all that before, but he appreciated my hand on his forehead and rubbed it gently back and forth across my open palm. We didnt talk physics, or contemplate the meaning of our existence, we both just made the most of that.

I think we understood each other.
