Not sayin anything about Spacey.. However

Recently. Quite a few public figures here in .se had to leave their positions because of mob like
accusations on twitter and on social media..

No criminal investigations or trials.. just instant defame and public disgrace..

Thats modern justice.. Geeeez.

I didn't care for that one. I thought he was brilliant in The Usual Suspects.

So, I guess he is a good actor and a deviant human being.

I'll give you that, "The Usual Suspects" was brilliant. Anybody who hasn't seen "The Usual Suspects" has lived a deprived lifehood.

I guess drawing on personal experience made him good at playing a deviant actor.

While I have little doubt there is a "casting couch" culture in Hollywood, I feel as thought the whole innocent before being proved guilty has been thrown out of the window. It seems to me that anyone can make an allegation at the moment and whoever has been accused is being deemed as being guilty.

However unlikely it is, what if all these men being accused are innocent??? Mud sticks and their reputations would have been destroyed.

Of course he does have a right to due process, but it also seems to me that if he voluntarily went into rehab for the reasons he's accused of then that shows me the allegations are true...

I don't agree with sexually assaulting young ladies - However I really do not like how one allegation can ruin a mans career without him even being proven guilty. With all these people coming out saying "So and so molested me", the media and social media straight away jump to conclusions, your name gets turned into mud, the studios and publishers hosting your content cut ties with you to keep their image and try to be "politically correct".

Someone could easily lose their career over word of mouth with no proof/evidence whatsoever. A bitch could easily be lying in at least one of these cases.

And what about House of Cards, Netflix removed his show from their service and cut ties just because the man made some mistakes. Knee-jerk overreaction, in my opinion.

Not defending anyone, I just don't like how everybody's over-reacting to the situation. What happened to "innocent until proven guilty"?

Nancy Sinatra posted a similar thing about it yesterday. "Innocent until proven guilty used to mean something, not trial by accusations, rumors and innuendo."

Prosecutors to meet with Kevin Spacey accuser: District attorney to interview teenage son of Boston news anchor who said the disgraced actor sexually assaulted him at a bar

Prosecutors are set to meet with one of Kevin Spacey's accusers.

Cape and Islands district attorney Michael O'Keefe in Massachusetts said he will interview the teenage son of Boston news anchor Heather Unruh, who accused Spacey of sexually assaulting him at a bar in July 2016.

O’Keefe told the Boston Globe he is interested in 'everything that’s relevant and material' to the alleged assault.

He said the investigation 'will proceed from there after we have a chance to speak with the person who made the allegation.'

Totally agree it is pretty obvious he is guilty but what I disagree with is the naming and shaming before it is proven it is true.

You occasionly see it with innocent men being accused of rape. Read one story the other day of a young lad who was accused of rape by a women he met in a nightclub and was named and shamed over social media by her. Turns out the women in question made it all up for attention after it was eventually proven the sex was
consensual and she eventually admited it was.

I think the whole thing has become a witch hunt...
