I thought I'd post about this and see if anyone has heard of such a creature...Its large or maybe just heavy in that it makes impressions when its walking or running towards someone, it seems to interact with physical objects, can move things and make noises that can be heard but its body cannot be seen...There was one instance when a person fired off a rifle at it but it did not slow the creature down one bit...There's been more than one report of interactions with such a creature, wondering if this has been heard of before by anyone else?...

This sounds like something related to the Skinwalker Ranch.

The experiences I have been told have nothing to do with that skinwalker ranch which I personally do not know much about either...

I knew this guy who told me a story about a backpacking trip he and his friends took to the High Sierras. He said they were walking on the trail and heard something that sounded like 300 lbs. paralleling them. They couldn't see anything, but did hear twigs crunching under it. David Paulides talks about similar beings in mountainous areas.

I read a couple of those 411 books by Paulides a few years back. I seem to recall that he reports the facts of the stories but he never speculates on what he believes is behind these missing people.

It's as if he would say that bigfoot, aliens or whatever was behind it all, the readers would call him out on it. It is better to keep quiet and let others decide what is behind it all. I found his books a frustrating read overall.

Google his name and you can find his website. He's all in on Bigfoot, to the point of endorsing some notoriously bad "science."

He must have changed his tune since I first read his books.

I think he's careful to downplay the Bigfoot stuff in interviews, and in his books from what I've read. I was surprised to see his site. I think he's been at the Bigfoot bidness a while.

He seems to be convinced there is some dark conspiracy to hide things from the public. He basically accuses the Park Service and other guvvimint agencies of a coverup. I'm sure they don't like him much either.

Mr. Paulides has a checkered past. He was a police officer who was disciplined and I think let go, some years ago.

Didn't know that. I knew he had been a police officer but that's all. I admit I mostly ignore him. I've read a fair number of his stories, and many are interesting. I get the impression he's tone deaf when it comes to context, but that's just my uninformed opinion.

I think that's because of his law enforcement background. They generally don't deal with the spooky realm. He's probably the most popular guest on C2C.

I have read of similar reports, but I haven't experienced it myself.

I have had feelings of being watched but that hasn't occurred in many years now.
I have simply waved my hand in the direction the feeling comes from and in other times have spoken... "Really! Go ahead make yourself visible. What is there to be afraid of?" But nothing ever did come of it. So maybe the feelings were erroneous.
