He told me about that right after the story about being a helicopter pilot in WWII, shooting down seven Zeroes on one mission. That impressed General Eisenhower so much, he made him a spy. Gave him the first U2. Not to fly, but gave him the prototype. He wouldn't tell me where he had it stashed. It was an interesting evening, right up until he passed out.

You are right. No intelligent person would fall for fake news, as you call them.
But, we are social animals (proof is we meet in this forum), and majority of people prefer fake news to real news. Fake news are real in the sense that they have the potential for creating real events. And real events can affect you. That's the main reason I watch CNN every day, just to know in which direction HYSTERICS are trending.

I went onto the Amazon website to see what sort of customer ratings this got. It wasn’t very positive or pretty. As stated, George Knapp is a producer of this video. Knapp has long since crossed over the line from being a reporter to being someone who has chosen sides, in particular Bob Lazar’s side of things. I’m glad I saved a few bucks and not streamed this from Amazon.

Knapp and Lazar have been de facto business partners ever since Knapp fucked up and did not vet his "dream witness" before rushing onto the tube with his bullshit. He could have owned his mistake, admitting he had been had by a con man, but he lacked the courage or the moral compass or something. Knapp is an entertainer. He's good at it. He is an insult to the craft of journalism and should stop pretending to be something other than an entertainer.
Above is the kindest version of what I see after following this shitshow from the beginning in '87 or whenever it was. There are darker interpretations, of course, with Knapp knowing exactly what Lazar was but cashing in anyway. For example. At any rate, those two assholes are responsible for misleading millions of people. For profit.
