This is an interesting article -if it hasn't been posted before:
I don't think the Pentagon wants this to be a front page story at all times, and of course they aren't going to release anything that could help hostile nations, but they do have a desire to get this out there. Soft or slow disclosure seems more likely all the time. In fact, I'm starting to believe that the MJ-12 documents and the story of Bob Lazar could be part of the program.
I'm reading about cold war submarine espionage and see a lot stuff that looks very familiar. Gotta let it all slow cook a while though
When was the most recent report of activity in the area concerned ?
I've got the head of Oregon MUFON scheduled for a Zoom talk about the recently released report, in October. I made UFO presentations for years at the LO Adult Community Center and Library, but new management feels it is too controversial a subject and so now I get others to present! Anyone can attend the meeting --not limited by geographical area. Y'all could attend, once I set up the Zoom meeting itself, I'll post the link again:

A bit past my bedtime, you're way over there on the left hand side but what the hell, why not?
Please post a reminder a day ahead of time. What with my globe trotting jet set lifestyle I might forget
Would it be possible to watch the presentation after it happens? I'll be at work at that time.
I'll ask Tom if we can record the presentation!
I'm watching the JJ Abrams UFO documentary episode 1, now. Some good footage. Some of it is like what I saw. I Know What I Saw remains an excellent documentary.
Good enlarged footage from Chicago O'Hare!

This book was damned interesting and shed light on things I never even heard of before. Odd though, published in 2016 the factual info ends with Clinton's presidency in 2001. So it talks about things in the future which are 20 years behind us already. One thing it absolutely does well is to illustrate how 'special projects' are handled and viewed by other parts of the Navy that have to compete for resources. It says about what John B Alexander has been saying. Also illustrates how compartmentalized these things can be.
So, a quote from the book speaking from a late 1990's p.o.v says:
“The Navy also has been pouring money into creating underwater drones—and even small pilotless aircraft—that could be controlled by these submarines and swim out ahead to look for mines or fly out to do surveillance. ”
— Blind Man's Bluff: The Untold Story Of American Submarine Espionage by Sherry Sontag, Christopher Drew
Isn't that something to think about.
Kept thinking about some of the stories I heard. Fravor (I think) repeated something he heard from a Navy diver who was tasked to retrieve a practice torpedo. Something huge came up out of the darkness and took it before he could. In the 2004 Nimitz incident Fravor said he saw the craft low to the water with some sort of disturbance. Interesting, sounds a bit ballast-tanky or submariney to me. Check out this thing:

We look at the astounding performance capabilities of the devices reported and no, I don't really know if we could build something like that. Sounds too far fetched, but then we have Ben Rich's mercurial comments to consider. What I do know for sure is that we have undersea capability than nobody pays too much attention to and that transmedium devices would be a natural fit for a the Jimmy Carter. I also know that deception is the name of the game and that whatever we are looking at might not be what we think it is at all.
Just started to get into some of this and thought some of it might stick if I threw it on the wall.
This new book is out! Yeah!:

And it looks good and clears up a lot, hopefully!
