I am now actually of the mind that many potential aliens will be post biological, machine bodies

I only just saw this new episode and haven't listened to it yet but have heard Fenton elsewhere. Worth checking out, or at least his website. We have a very narrow focus thinking that ET is going to even be recognizable to us and indeed they may have other ideas about interstellar travel. Fenton is looking for trace evidence in a way I never heard of before. Far more credible and interesting than 'Art's parts' and so forth, IMO

There is no advantage to being a machine, even to having parts of the body from machine.
I read somewhere that human muscles can store x7 times more energy then the best batteries. So, we are much more efficient in converting food into energy then best machines will ever be.
Plus, if threatened with punishment we can fight even without food, like those poor Russian soldiers in Ukraine. In times of high inflation life is cheap.
And what is the advantage of being a biological lifeform then over a machine, in space or on another planet? Astronauts bones start to weaken even after a while when spending time in space, not to mention any other ailments you could get on alien worlds, especially those that have a different gravity and suns. I also found it curious how any supposed alien visitor landing here can apparently "breathe". Maybe they are not breathing, cause they don't have to. Machines don't.

Now it is possible they have mastered genetics and genetic/biological engineering. But again, why pick that over a post biological, efficient exploration body, which doesn't really age? Which would be great especially on longer, sublight travels, if superluminal isn't an option. Unless they have mastered artificial gravity, food growing, genetics and some sort of super luminal travel, I would lean heavily towards post biological.

Exactly. Interesting how virtually all close encounters involve beings and craft that are understandable to us, always ahead technically but not too far and in cases where there has been communication it's about topics already familiar and current. Of course, it could very well be that humanoid critters with warp drive really are showing up here but I always felt that this is more a sociological phenomenon than anything else. Not saying that there haven't been weird inexplicable cases or that we should just dismiss anything, but finding a new way to look at all this is refreshing

There could be some explanation for humanoid encounters. My top one at this moment is that if genuine, they are some sort of constructs or bred avatars or proxies. Made in our image. Or that some are completely made up(I think alot of them are made up). There is of course the convergent evolution thing too, that I have talked about in the past. Some scientists also think that is a possibility, that intelligence life goes towards a certain simple solution, like a bipedal construct familiar to us.

The thing is, even a post biological can look like a biological. Like in a Terminator or in Ghost in the Shell, just put an artificial skin or some holo disguise on top. I haven't done a single autopsy on any alleged visitor, so who knows?

turns out that episode of the BV was the one I heard about Bruce Fenton through - thought it was another podcast for some reason. Not usual fare for JG

Pentagon ordered to re-investigate 1945 crash of mysterious 'avocado-shaped' UFO dubbed the 'Roswell before Roswell,' as expert reveals eyewitness accounts of the encounter

The government's UFO office has been ordered to re-investigate an alleged 1945 crash of a strange object in New Mexico – dubbed the 'Roswell before Roswell'.

A new military spending bill signed into law by President Biden last week was specifically amended to incorporate the intriguing case into a historic review of UFO incidents to be conducted by the Department of Defense.

Jaques Vallée, a former contractor for the government's UFO office and the co-author of a book on the 1945 case, gave an exclusive interview to DailyMail.com about it.

Vallée, a renowned scientist and UFO investigator, was the inspiration for the French scientist character in Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind, played by François Truffaut.

In his interview, he described the alleged August 1945 crash of an avocado-shaped 'craft' on the edge of the atomic bomb testing site near San Antonio, New Mexico – about 100 miles from the infamous Roswell crash two years later.

The National Defense Authorization Act, which passed Congress this month, includes a section requiring the Department of Defense's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) to review and prepare a report on all previous government investigations of UFOs dating back to 1945.

The bill's text previously only went back to 1947, but a late amendment changed it to '45.

'I was not involved in the drafting of the legislation, but several of my DC friends were, and they got the date of the investigation pushed back to 1945,' Vallée told DailyMail.com.

'Several of the Congressmen involved have the book that Paola Harris and I wrote about our research at [the alleged crash site called] Trinity.'

Vallée and Italian UFO journalist Harris's 2021 book, Trinity: the Best-Kept Secret, was re-released this year with new information, and is mainly based around testimony of three witnesses: a B-52 bomber pilot, and two young sons of a rancher on whose land the UFO supposedly crashed.

The two researchers interviewed the family of Lt. Col William Brothy, who said he revealed in the years after the incident that he was sent out to survey the crash site on August 16, 1945.

An artist's impression of the crash site and UFO is pictured. 'There was a gouge in the earth as long as a football field, and a circular object at the end of it… It was the color of the old pot my mother was always trying to shine up, a dull metallic color,' one witness said.

Impressive! Sounds like Vallee and Harris were onto something all along.

I think Vallee is probably the greatest ufologist alive today. His work is always ahead of the curve, at least in my eyes. I really appreciate how Vallee connects modern Ufology with folklore, magic, and religion - means by which previous civilisations attempted to explain strange happenings and visitors from other worlds.

US Government is examining more than 500 reports of UFOs, hundreds of which remain unexplained according to declassified report

US authorities say they have collected hundreds of reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs), many of which are flying in sensitive military airspace, according to a newly declassified intelligence summary.

Last year the Pentagon opened the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office - a department whose sole focus is to analyze reports of what it calls 'unidentified aerial phenomena' (UAPs), many of which are made by military pilots.

A summary of the report released on Thursday claimed the office had received 510 reports of UFOs, many of which 'occur in restricted or sensitive airspace, highlighting possible concerns for safety of flight or adversary collection activity', the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) said.

The 510 objects include 144 previously reported and 366 new reports. Of these new reports, 247 had been filed since June 2021, while another 119 reports were buried in old records from the past 17 years which have since been unearthed.

In both the old and new cases, the majority of UFOs were determined to have exhibited 'unremarkable characteristics' upon analysis, and could be characterized as unmanned aircraft systems or balloon-like objects, the report said.

But more than 200 of the sightings remain unexplained.

That's Kristen Fisher, I dubbed her 'the Breck Girl' because she's gorgeous. Both of her parents are astronauts. I'll save this and watch UFO Jesus on the big TV

That last report is pretty much one both believers and skeptics hate. Believers because it doesn't give any clearer info, Skeptics cause it doesn't explain most/all of them away. Everyone loses, Government secrecy wins, again. And the wheel keeps on turning.

Well, another possibility is we are seeing government in action in a legitimate effort. The organizations involved in this are enormous and each has it's own inertia behind it as it relates to this topic. This will take some time to get rolling and we are impatiently looking at progress, such as it is. Skeptics and believers are both disappointed because neither of them got what they wanted.

I'm not naive, and I do cast a suspicious eye on all this. Having listened to Dr. Travis Taylor talk about interdepartmental cooperation and importantly, budgeting, it does sound mundane enough to likely have a lot of truth to it.

Ep. #118 – Dr. Travis Taylor, Former Chief Scientist on the UAP Task Force - The Black Vault

This is pretty much the same point John B Alexander made in UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities a decade ago.

TWO Air Force vets have testified to Pentagon's UFO office about seeing mysterious objects TURN OFF ten nuclear warheads and blast test missiles out of the sky at US bases

The Pentagon's UFO office is investigating historic reports of mysterious objects interfering with key nuclear missile silos.

Two Air Force veterans told DailyMail.com they have testified to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) this month about their experiences of UFOs interfering with US nuclear missiles.

One email shows AARO staff contacted former US Air Force ICBM launch officer Robert Salas to gather information about his chilling encounter with an orange flying disc that inexplicably turned off 10 warheads at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana in 1967.

And another former officer, Dr. Robert Jacobs, has briefed AARO on a 35mm film he shot for the Air Force in 1964 that allegedly caught a flying saucer shooting a test missile out of the sky.

The accounts offer a rare glimpse into the often classified work of the government unit tasked with probing unidentified phenomena in the air, sea and space.

AARO director Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick is also interviewing nine other witnesses of similar cases, according to author Robert Hastings, who has previously spoken to 167 veterans regarding 'more than a hundred UFO incursions at nuclear weapons sites during the Cold War era and beyond'.

Hastings wrote a book on the incidents called UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites.

In a blog post on Sunday, he revealed that he had been asked by Kirkpatrick to connect him with Salas, Jacobs, and other witnesses, after an unnamed Senate staffer read the book and recommended it to the AARO director for investigation.

Salas, 82, told DailyMail.com he was impressed by the outreach, after decades of having his account either ignored or denied by the government.
