The epicenter was eight miles north of Anchorage and they had another quake in the center of that city.

If memory serves the 1964 quake was 9.2. I was in a 6.4 as a 3 year old around the same time.

There's been over 1,000 aftershocks. I find it strange there's no external images or video of the buildings in Anchorage. They keep using the same images of impassable roads.
