Which is caused by magnetic memory, previous lava that has cooled way back when the last pole reversal occurred, the lava retained the magnetic field memory when it cooled...
I was more thinking about a live change or anomaly because of the intense heat and pressure coming up...

that sort of magnetic reversal we are seeing near that volcano is what they base the magnetic reversals on.
but most of the planet is not seeing that reversal, so I now question how accurate the data is at all.
magma is electrically conductive,
so it moving sure could make magnetic fields.

I'd say it depends on why the anomalies actually exist where they are found. The causes aren't fully known and likely have more than one cause.
