McMinnville

This is usually when Hannah McRoberts' picture comes in followed by that English sideways desk bell thing with the reflection of the chimney on it. Definitely at the top of my Weird File.

Bill Munn's went back and had another look at all the extant copies of the PGF and found objective data no one else could or did. Typically, the Devil's in the details and his findings convinced skeptical me.

Apparently there is no additional data to be gleaned from a few still pics - all of them mentioned here not just the Trent's, and I suppose others I haven't though of. I wish there was as they are intriguing but there is 'insufficient data' to make a conclusion as it simply shows something that looks unusual, our minds take that leap and make it something else. Even if they are real unknowns there isn't enough meat on the bone to make a meal of. So, truck mirror, wires, alien spacecraft - does any of that actually make a difference if all we can do is speculate?

.....hey fellers, I didn't mean to stir the pot on this so vigorously. sorry.

Time warp excepted, I would bet if we all could have sat down personally with the Trents for a talk we'd all walk away convinced.

My time warp thing is broken, but if it worked in the first place shouldn't it already have been fixed ? Many things confuse me.

For me, because of my experience (and the others who saw the same objects), that was apparently related to the McMinnville sighting and pics, I think there is a connection between these formations of round objects and the disc-shaped objects, the same thing or intelligence is behind them, and they are part of the same phenomenon. That may seem obvious to some, but I think it is meaningful. If the pics are "real" and I think they probably are.

It does look a lot like one of those, and very similar to some other rear view mirrors. I don't personally don't think it is one of those, I think it is a real UFO. Fwiw, my office mate who's parents knew the Trents, didn't think it was faked; they didn't think the Trents were sophisticated enough for a hoax like that. No line has ever been discovered holding up the object, if it was a model. Does it look thrown into the air? Have you ever seen the interview with Evelyn Trent? She mentions it coming up on edge before it shot off:

I just find it hard to believe that there is a structured flying saucer (seeing detail knowing its not a bird etc.) was hovering around their farm and that he ran in the house, found his camera which happened to be loaded with film, came out of the house with the disc still there and got off some photos. No other photos or videos of a structured UFO that I know of have been real - they all end up fakes like Ed Walters, Billy Meier, Rex Heflin etc. Remember, "the computer analysis" of Billy & Rex's photos proved that it was a big object about 25-30 ft in diameter and was a good distance from the camera. Yet we end up with model train wheels super close to the camera (Heflin's) and we all know about Meier's many models & tricks that he used, yet the computer tells a different story when these cases were initially studied (and they fooled people for decades).

Where did this particular photo come from? Just curious.
I think that particular picture might be a model of it, not a rearview mirror like some of the other pictures. You could do a reverse image search for it on Google. My device I'm on now won't let me do it.

Ooops, I meant 'first 5 secs".
I figured. Guaranteed you could find at least one in five entire minutes over at my brother's house, he's had a lot of old pickups.

Thing is, if I say 'don't connect the dots just because something looks the same' about other cases then to be a true Devil's Advocate it applies to this equally. I do think it's a common object but don't have any way to know that.

My only problem with those photos is that after all these years they have provided all information they can and are simply cuds to be chewed on in forums like this, a distraction at best and point of contention at worst. I wouldn't know what to say to Hannah McRoberts other than 'freaky photograph'. That doesn't really tell us much of anything either, so unless someone can find evidence no one else has spotted ala Bill Munns then I suggest we just file those away and worry more about prospective studies than retrospective.
