Isnt she a beauty !

Thank you.....I prefer the later Cleveland's myself.....but I was talking about the other part of the ship on the bottom. The image is part of the bow which was blown off.....I was wondering if the found the back of the ship on the bottom.

Makes you wonder how many wrecks there are down there. I'm xertainly of the opinion they should leave it be, leaving it as a War grave.

Every so often they do raise them or salvage them.

The Tirpitz comes to mind, where the salvage company started selling bits off for souvenirs...

The Tirpitz was in shallow water.....and the Norwegians didn't care if there were any Germans in the wreck when it was scrapped. Now these are considered war graves....I'm sure the Aussies have the same idea. They also scrapped numerous German ships in Scapa Flow after the Grand Scuttle in 1919.....at least the ones that were shallow enough.
